That was actually 1981, and the car was the re30 i think. Arnoux was using the re20b,

that´s why the rear wing is different.

Imagine having to change gears close top 3,000 times, no power steering or any other electronic help. I don't even want to talk about the 1,400 HP qualification engine! Basically, those guys were driving with one hand on the steering wheel the whole time, crazy!

The single-pieced front wing was a trademark of the Renault RE20 that was used in 1981. also, the video shows the rear of René Arnoux' car with the O-shaped rear wing, which was another trademark of the RE20. The RE30 as it was used in 1982 and the RE40 as it was used 1983 looked different.
