I've never heard narrator voice for MTG matches that I could deem good. Even this one that seems a notch above the others seems to be lacking that sonorous quality that draws you in. I've heard over the top soccer announcer types and boring Ben Stein types, but I just can't imagine what would be perfect.

Yes, it does affect how many lands enters the battlefield, but not how many lands you are allowed to play from your hand each turn when you activate it.

If you mean the fetchlands (term for lands that you pay a life for and fetch one of two basic land types), you replace it with one of two basic lands. It does not affect the amount of lands you can play from your hand each turn.

Well I guess cards were first printed in '94 and so it "came out then," but MTG was introduced in '93 so the game itself could have been filmed then so it was appropriate for me to mention 1 year prior to the earliest date. I guess I should have said introduced and not released.
