I'm all for them. Actually, I am wearing one right now (actually, it's the ones that say "boobies rule" but yeah). I like the initial meaning of it, which is awareness for breast cancer, and then my two personal ones which are: boobies rule means that girls rule and thus it's like a feministic empowerment. I also like it because I am bi. Are the last two a little bit wrong? Maybe. But is spreading breast cancer awareness (and the funds for these go to BC research) ultimately good? Yes.

I didn't know about this. :o Here in Florida, we just have plain pink bracelets like that, that are to support it. But in this case, of course it shouldn't be banned. I mean, it could be said in a much better way, but any way to raise awareness is just fine by me. Your school is basically saying that they don't care about breast cancer and they don't want people to know about it. It's a big deal, and it shouldn't be banned. Breast cancer has a tremendous amount of funding, which is probably why the amount of deaths is now decreasing. i have all the colors and i love them...wear a different color everyday.... but then this year we get in trouble for wearing them. but i think it was a great idea. its a great conversation starter and that way people will be aware that u can get breat cancer and that its out there.

Well... my rant is THE BRACELETS ARE FOR BREAST CANCER! maybe their parents are overprotective or whatever but they are actually donating money for the cure and im proud to say i own 20 of them and wear them all! I switch em out with all my outfits and i have 2 of every color its pretty cool:) But its like their parents are trying to protect their kid from ever finding out that girls have boobies! well if we quit supporting breast cancer... no one will have boobies. they should be allowed

they are for a fantastic cause abd honestly the reason they have a more controversial word on the bracelet is to catch peoples attention to spread more awareness ad raise more money. i wear one of these bracelets to honor my grandma who passed away from breast cancer and if i got on trouble for doing so at school i would be really mad. what kid hasnt seen the word boobies anyway. its not that big of a deal!

I have one and last year I didn't wear mine bcz I thought my techers would see it and think it's inappropriate but then I saw some other people wear them so now I wear mine to school and the teachers don't even look at it or say anything, I am in a group at my school and we are doing a breast cancer walk and some people said they are giving out boobies bracelets but idk I thunk they should be allowed if they are not a distraction .

i definitely have to say that is just plain dumb for things to get so intense over a word. I support breast cancer awareness 110% and i think that highschool students should be mature enough to know why theyre wearing the bracelette or anything for that matter that says "I love boobies". I think it should be OK for highschool students to wear them, but anything lower then that i don't should be allowed.

I didn't know about this. :o Here in Florida, we just have plain pink bracelets like that, that are to support it. But in this case, of course it shouldn't be banned. I mean, it could be said in a much better way, but any way to raise awareness is just fine by me. Your school is basically saying that they don't care about breast cancer and they don't want people to know about it. It's a big deal, and it shouldn't be banned. Silly bands are one story, breast cancer is another.

in my opinion, i think the phrase 'i <3 boobies" wasnt a very good choice to put on the bracelets. Although it is to spread cancer awareness, many teens are buying and wearing the bracelets for the wrong reasons, therefore a lot of parents, and teachers are creating a controversy over these bracelets. I think that it is up to the school to teach the kids on why the bracelets are phrased that way in the first way, other than that, they should just rephrase it.

I live in canada and its never been an issue in my school and some girls where shirts that say "save the boobies or save the ta ta's" and some teachers actually have breast cancer so they fully support it and our school sells merch like that to raise awarness of the cancer so i think that its being over rated in america like wouldnt you want the cancer to be cured? seriously.

For looks or sincerity, they still paid for it and donated. Cancer itself is not the trend, but the donation and spread of the word is.
"Boobies" is much better than "tits" or "big jugs," or something vulgar.

@whaddupk Actually,LUNG cancer is the cancer with the highest amount of deaths, and the least amount of funding, the cancer that REALLY shouldhave trendy things.Lack of funds + research= more death. Breast cancer has a tremendous amount of funding, which is probably why the amount of deaths is now decreasing. Yes people may be buying these bracelets which is helping breast cancer, but a lot of the people buying the bracelet don't even care about that part. It's just a subconscious thing to them.

I think it's offensive to those who battled breast cancer or those who know people that have it for the bracelets to be banned. It's a way of spreading awareness. How is having the bracelets removed from schools a way of shielding your child? Unless you're a male going to an all male school or something, you're gonna see boobies. Boobs, boobies, tits, breasts, ta-tas, they're all the same thing. I don't think the bracelets are that big of a deal. If anything, the bracelets should be celebrated.
