This is from a lost BBC TV play...Ron Grainer's original version is also cool, very Steptoe-ish as one might expect. Paper Blitz Tissue apparently appeared in the film...wouldn't mind seeing THAT!
@MapsOfJupiter Yes they did, I remember seeing it. I think they were called 'The Majors' in the play. Saw them live just after that at 'Christmas on Earth Continued' Olympia 1967. They were pretty good as far as I can remember.
@hawkmoon03111951 Wow, seeing such a great band live must be some memory...weren't Tomorrow there as well? Afraid I missed out, was still in nappies at the time! All these distant 60s combos seem like ghosts to me, but a damn sight more worthwhile than the shit that's around now. I guess Boy Meets Girl got junked by the BBC...maybe it'll turn up in someone's garage one day. Meantime, a thousand thanks for this post....
@MapsOfJupiter The Traffic film has now appeared on Youtube, search for "traffic christmas on earth continued"... now let's just hope that the other tapes does turn up as well!
Thanks for this video. I recorded this fantastic song in 1967 on my old mono tape machine here in Germany, and I didn't even get the weird band name right. It's a great song, especially the bass line and the lead guitar ...

It's me again - you don't have the lyrics of the song by any remote chance, do you?

@Berniewahlbrinck Sorry I don't. Only way is to write them down as you listen.
