DUDE the drone sound is what makes it sound like a 8... its that ricey sound you gotta watch out for.. my opinion on a v6 so far the FRPP's or flowmasters are the best...
FRPP's I think sound pretty good too. The flowmasters seem kind of risky. On some V6 Mustangs they sound great but on others of the same year they sound ricey. The pypes sound great so far on all I have heard.

an h pipe is best for a deeper v8 sounding tone, the x pipe makes it sound too raspy and rice burner like
