  • Yes dipshits, zardoz was weird and chessy but what it was speaking about is how easily people can be manipulated and coerced into believing anything in the name of faith. "If you believe in things that you don't understand, you suffer"...Stevie Wonder

  • I take it as an alternate vision for the Arthurian Legend

  • Who came up with tis idea for a story?

  • I'm guessing someone with a lot of money to spend on drugs

  • John Boorman wrote and directed.

  • more anti religion

  • good ^^

  • yes, good!

  • There's no need to be nasty. If you don't like something you can either ignore it or engage in a calm and adult-like discussion of it.

The film demonstrates how useful a tool religion can be for the ruling elite, in that it allows for the easy manipulation of the masses. Zardoz is a false god, as I believe all gods to be, but even if there were a true god any religion devoted to it could be misused by those who have only their own interests at heart.

  • que gran película! boorman es un genio.
