@BoardWhareHowse I used After Effects to generate snow. Granted it was a bad job, You could have done several things to make it look more realistic. There is a plugin within After Effects, you can use the particle generator or use CC Snow, thats what I used. I tweaked it to get what I liked. :) hope this helps.
@whatiscodered So the use of just the green screen with chroma key, and a video of snow falling for the background is not enough? You must actually use Adobe After Effects? And don't be so down on your self, it was not a bad job. It's better than what I can do with my green screen.
@BoardWhareHowse If you have video of snow fall then you do not need After Effects, as long as you have software that can remove the green screen (chroma key) and then just drop the snow video on top. =)
I used the hard drive to record the tutorial. I use the adobe suite, Adobe Premiere to be exact. It understands that format. I did not have to convert it, just rendered it out to the youtube settings.
5 Stars! Wow! Perfect. I didn't even think about doing it outdoors since I see so many people do it indoors. I'll have to give that a shot later. Awesome video.
How did you get the snow flakes to fall? I understand the background that part is easy. But the actual falling of the snow.

Wow.... thats amazing. Where do you get the effects for the green screen? Does it come with Adobe Premiere?
makaveli19860 2 years ago
@makaveli19860 Adobe comes with two filters: Key Light and Chroma Filter.
I used After Effects to do the green screen.
