@renzevios Graphics can get attraction at the first sight, but gameplay can keep old customers to play and bring new customers to their game. Also, a lot of free to play games avoid to use high-spec engine because it could kill their games from too high-spec to play for most customers.

the only thing free in this game thats permanent is the first gun you get. the rest is all renting or saving up all your free in game credits to buy it so its permanent. which is like 400000 points for a permanent gun with out paying for gold or other wise called battlefunds. fun game but also they are miss advertizing it so it seems more free than it really is

I've played the BETA of this game, I deleted it off my hard drive after 2 hours... This game, REALLY is a perfect example of free to play, pay to win, not just because it's free and that's the cliche, but because this game REALLY is like that. You can't get ANY, I mean ANY good weapon, unless you pay for it, the free weapons are just CRAP. You have to BUY GRENADES WITH REAL MONEY, what the fuck does that mean, no grenades for free players ?!? And you can't run and strafe at the same time.. shit!

@bigsteamfan Hello tharr, mad person. In my opinion, this game is pretty good, allthough it's F2P. About the weapons - You can buy almost all the weapons in game for the credits you earn in battles. And it gives you 20k credits when you begin, that means you can rent some of the weapons at the beginning, so if you are playing the game for some time, you will be able to BUY weapons and i don't see why are you whining about free weapons if you can rent the good ones?...

And the fact that you have to reach a certain high level to get grenades and the fact that you can't strafe while running, is a game-breaker for me.. EVERY game looks perfect in the trailer, you shall see how the real experience is once you play it, like I did..

@bigsteamfan You just buy a weapon for a day or so, to earn more credits to eventually BUY a weapon forever, i don't see why is that such a big deal. And to get grenades you just have to reach level 2, and to reach it you need to play for about 2mins or so, then you can upgrade the grenade thingy, can't see where's the problem? And as i said, i've been playing this game for a while now, and i'm usually on the top of the player list, allthough ive never spent cash on it.

You are even able to buy some of the boosts for the credits you earn, so it doesn't really matter if you're f2p or not. Battlefield Play4Free runs on the same engine as Battlefield 2, but was not made by DICE. It feels like you're playing BF2, but unfortunately the weapons "rental" system is ridiculous. I think if you buy a weapon, you should have it forever. In BF:P4F, you keep it for a month maximum, then you lose it. Talk about a huge waste of money...
