Nah F1 04 was the shittiest F1 game. A stupid american commentator instead of Brundle/Kravitz, no damage modelling apart from a stupid red bar and no proper AI. You could see Schumacher and Coulthard at the back and Pantano at the front. F1 98 beats the hell out of 04.

Dunno if it was that bad. It does look like crap alongside F1 97, but still better than it's successor, F1 99. It had too understeering handling & too slow AI. They could also improve a bit F1 95/97 graphics & camera.
The funny thing is, the guys who developed F1 98 actually went onto make a pretty decent F1 game - F1 2000 (EA Sports). F1 99 was still far superior to 98 tho if you ask me, and 99 wasn't a good game!
Oh man! The audio seems to be raped a bit by Youtube, but nonetheless you did a great job putting this here. Lots of good memories connected to it & the game itself.

What! this is a good rendition of the in game music, I remember if you used to turn the music volume up full in game it would snap crackle and pop.
Memories for me of this crappy game are mostly good cos I did win a joytech steering wheel for my troubles in arcade time trial mode lool.
