@beachbum111111 Lol, Movie Maker. I remember that...when I was 12. Now I use Adobe Premiere Pro, with Mercury Playback, something that you can't do on any Mac short of a Pro line series, and with a Nvidia Quadro card, but you CAN to on any basic $1000 PC.

since all the components in the mac are readily available on newegg the only difference between macs and pcs is the OS and the price. OSX and Windows can work on a pc and same with a mac so that just leaves price. The mac costs 3X more than a pc with the same components and a pc that has the same budget would blow a mac out of the water.
The only thing apple is good for is their laptops, but even then those are still heavily overpriced. The one thing about apple that exceedes other companies is
Windows is a car. Sometimes crashing etc. Mac have to be a babyscooter then! Babyscooters don't get any problems that cars does! And they are soo much more colorfull!

What is good for one is NOT nessesarily good for others. I have not high priority in a gaming OS, but I definitely need it to be fast and secure. My PC is a Linux-only system, but with various Windows Managers for different jobs. This is the way I get the most out of my money.

I'm comparing packages and their respective communities.
There are many mainstream linux distributions (Ubuntu is just one) which I refer to collectively as "linux", since they share about the same qualities. Also, osx is the OS of the package refered to a "mac" (see video above).
If you're so smart, why not ask to clarify windows 7 or windows NT?

Packages with windows offer pretty much the same things (including the things on top of windows), so you can refer to them collectively by what they have in common: windows. That is even though windows does not define what you get on top of it. Same for linux.
Macs in the other hand are unique distributions, so I don't need an umbrella term.

And finally, if you spend on a pc the same amount you spend on a mac, you have an incredible powerful pc and may be even easier to make the other "life stuff" as said.
@ftabah If you are a proffessional web designer or graphic designer, you will use adobe software. Adobe software is well known to run faster on OSX. For the games I play, which is pretty much everything on source, OSX is far more stable.

@EpicRsVile SSDs available for PCs boot up faster than MAC SSDs. PC cases look cooler than macs. PCs support faster CPUs than macs. Social networking is also on the PC. iPods suck. PC users don't need a MAC OS, but MAC users need a Windows OS. Battery life has NOTHING to do with the OS. Graphics and Design programs are better on a PC(DX11 > OpenGL4.1). eBooks are also available on the PC in more advanced formats. Video editing programs on a PC are better than MAC programs.

@EpicRsVile Then why the hell do you measure performance in the speed of the CPU? A single core 3GHz manufactured under 90nm technology would be MUCH slower then a single core CPU manufactured under 22nm running at the same speed. Also, in case you did not know, the MAC OS was programmed on a PC.

@EpicRsVile You defiantly are too stupid to compare the two if you don't know what I am talking about. PC was programmed on a earlier version of windows. I am a long time programmer on miniclip and I defiantly have accomplished much more than playing runescape. I have also had a job on Jagex, but they did not listen to me when I decided to update the standalone client of Runescape to use C#. Also, the MAC does NOTHING better than Windows. Therefore, it has no advantage over windows.

What is good for one is NOT nessesarily good for others. I have not high priority in a gaming OS, but I definitely need it to be fast and secure. My PC is a Linux-only system, but with various Windows Managers for different jobs. This is the way I get the most out of my money.

I'm comparing packages and their respective communities.
There are many mainstream linux distributions (Ubuntu is just one) which I refer to collectively as "linux", since they share about the same qualities. Also, osx is the OS of the package refered to a "mac" (see video above).
If you're so smart, why not ask to clarify windows 7 or windows NT?

Packages with windows offer pretty much the same things (including the things on top of windows), so you can refer to them collectively by what they have in common: windows. That is even though windows does not define what you get on top of it. Same for linux.
Macs in the other hand are unique distributions, so I don't need an umbrella term.

Also, making websites in mac is easier? Only the visual part. To make a powerful site engine on a mac is not easier than on a pc, wich have a lot more or softwares available.
And finally, if you spend on a pc the same amount you spend on a mac, you have an incredible powerful pc and may be even easier to make the other "life stuff" as said.

@ftabah If you are a proffessional web designer or graphic designer, you will use adobe software. Adobe software is well known to run faster on OSX. For the games I play, which is pretty much everything on source, OSX is far more stable.

@DemoraX Actually you should know that the Navy, the bad a group of the army, uses macs for their submarines and control center. And now with windows parallels on mac, you can support all those games. And Avatar was used with macs AND PC's.
