(part 2) with bread yesterday, I eat a piece of toast with jam really slowly, although I felt like I had this tight pain in my chest.. I'm sure you know the feeling. Hopefully one day I will be able to eat bread one day. My weight isn't really shifting at the moment, I am hoping with getting the fill done will help with this.
My surgeron said that getting a fill will just remove the sensation of hunger, it won't do anything else. But after watching your videos that doesn't seem right?
I really think this marks an important stage in your wls journey, the fact that you are going to a seminar and talking to other people considering the surgery. I personallly am looking forward to being able to do that in a year's time.
I've started on solid foods, I'm one month banded now. My clinic is telling me to try all the different varities of food so that I can know what I can and can not tolerate before I get my fill done in two weeks. I had an uncomfortable experience..
Hi Ashley Thanks so much for all of your video's. Im due to be banded 08 August, and your video's have been educational and informative. They have helped me so much with my decision about 'Am I doing the right thing?' I was searching for something start to finish. Your success is amazing - and congratulations because the band is a tool, and its a lot of your own hard work that got you there. I wish you all the best in the future.
Oh man it's going to be so awesome for you! I'm so glad I could play even a small part in your journey, as long as you have the dedication and faith in yourself - you can kick some major ass with the lap band! Make sure you make lots of bandster friends, ones who have had it for longer than a year preferably because the beginning is very confusing and they may not have the best information. Get connected, consider therapy and have faith in yourself and your new self!
Isn't the band awesome! And NWWLS is the best. I was banded in Feb. of this year there. My journey has been a wonderful experience. I am a happier, healthier woman. Seeing you sitting and talking with Jessie felt like deja`vu!
I love Denise! She was the one at my seminar that sat down with me and really helped me out! After I walked out, I knew I was gettin it! Love her, love them, love NWWLS! I'll see em tomorrow, when I get my fill.
Thanks so much for posting all about your 1 year post-opt appt. I look forward to your videos. They have been a huge help to me. I was banded on 7/15/08
The fill seems to limit the amount of food? At least that is what I thought.
How was your trip to San Francisco? Hopefully you had a blast.
Take care and congratulations again on your success.
Cheers,
Cass
