I agree. Vinnie is annoying. But that is why you don't see much of him now. I can't say that i appreciated his appearance in this movie as much. Maybe in snatch. I think thats all i ever liked him in.
I think he was amazing in this movie. "What is your function in life" Well, maybe his character, but I don't think you should allow the bias of who he is allow you to throw away his character, you know?
HahAHahAHa!! Best Japanese movie, ever?! You can't be serious. I'm guessing you've never seen Seven Samurai, Lone Wolf and Cub or Vengeance is Mine? This movie is utter garbage compared to those timeless classics. Being weird for the sake of being weird isn't hip or cool. It's just idiotic nonsense. I can't help but laugh at some of the people who've actually tried to decipher some sort of hidden meaning from this crap.
Seven Samurai is over-hyped. Its not a movie, its an endurance contest. But i'm good at watching long movies. This movie has entertainment value. You can show this movie to anybody in the world and i will guarantee you that people will laugh and feel sad at the same time.And it is deep.Like when Aman's wife gets killed and just before she drops her picture is taken. She never comes back.Thats cause her soul is trapped in the pic. Aman then burns the pic and tries to kill himself to see her again
