an article about this was originally printed in "point blank" magazine back in the 80's. unfortunately, i heard that steve has since died, though i'm not sure when. RIP steve. you lived every bruce fan's dream that night.
This is from St. Louis in 1988 before the TOL show about an incident from 1/27/81 when Bruce was spotted buying popcorn for a Woody Allen movie in St. Louis the night before his show by Steven & Lisa Satanovsky.
After the show, Bruce got a ride to his hotel from them but after 1st stopping off at The Satanovskys. Bruce even had them call his Mom and tell her he had had a home cooked meal.
Note: This encounter is often mistakenly referenced as having occured in Denver but it was St. Louis.
