  • Wow just noticed we are all marking time on the up beat...check it out. something to fix

  • @Drum4ification Their popping their knees on the up beat like their taught, but their all driving their feet right on the down beat. Theres a lot of 'their's' in what I just said Lol

  • @amsnare13 I'm on the tenor line and I see this everyday. Some of us mark-time on the up beat. were taught to drive our feet as you said but our feet should definitely be hitting the ground on the down beat no matter what.

  • @Drum4ification Ya I can only see like a few not dead on the beat. A lot of people are taught a lot of different ways ya know. We all have our own way. When I marched with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps we had a couple guys that marked time funky but we got most of the kinks out for Finals :) nice and clean beats. I've always loved JSU!

  • @amsnare13 Yeah there are a ton of different way. Yeah I like the troopers a lot what year did you? I really want to check it.

  • @Drum4ification This year, I marched second Tenor Drum this year. It was really fun, I want to try out for either Bluecoats or Carolina Crown but I have to finish paying my corps dues though so maybe not this year. But on year for sure! I was thinking on trying out for MCM (Music City Mustiqe) for Indoor season one year

  • @amsnare13 Cool haha wow I plan on trying out for the same exact groups haha Im just not sure exactly when. But good luck man I hope you make it wherever you go.

  • @Drum4ification Yeah man, Drum Corps is a whole different word. Just going to the first Camps I learned so much, More than I had already had known. It really opens up your mind and helps to Exspand on your approach and Vocabulary to any kind of drum. Even if you don't think you'll make it or, if you don't have the money for the whole Tour. Just go to the Audition Camps, those right there are worth the camp fees! And Thank you man, really. And good luck to you in auditioning for any group. :D

  • @amsnare13 if you do try out for mcm then you'll see my drum instructor.

  • @Jdogdrums7 who?

  • i'm so freakin dark!!!!!!!!!
