He can sound amazing on a 200 dollar guitar. Also the fact that marty has nothing bad to say about megadeth. It's really messed up how dave talks about other people. It's like hes bitter no matter how happy he is.

@terran236 I very much agree with you. Marty has even said himself that he is more of a "pop and rock kinda guy" and that he's "not really into thrash metal". Whatever, I really like his style and he is pretty humble about his awesomeness. Dave does seem a bit bitter now that I think about it... most of his bitterness seems kind of self- inflicted, don't you think?

He's sort of referring to the way that some Jazz Fusion musicians went into and out of Megadeth but also of other bands too. Chris Poland and Garr Samuellson were both Fusion musicians, and Chris today plays in his own Jazz band as well as some others too.. that might be what he's getting at but also just his experiences auditioning hundreds of different musicians over Megadeth's 25+ years

When I actually listened to Megadeth I was blown away. I have been a lifetime Metallica person. I had always put Megadeth not on the same level as Metallica until two weeks ago I was listening to A Tout Le Monde and I said Maybe I should listen to the whole album, I did. The I went out and got every Megadeth record out there and for 24 hours just listened to the words the music, I had 13 gbs of Metallica on my pc - DELETED. I carry the Megadeth banner now and forever!!!!
