Can you also normally download the Eve Testserver from Eve online.com or do i have to do this to get into the server.

Yes you got to do what he does,what you download from the eve online site is just the current "patch/build" of the test server.

To get on the server all you basically do is make a new folder, copy&paste from the CCP folder to your newly created one. Make a shortcut of the eve client,(this is the one your going to access the test server with), got to add the test server's ip with that shortcut. And once you got that done you can launch the client and your good to go

Speaking of the IP might as well say it lol. Once you made the shortcut go to its properties and at 'Target' you just paste this in after the .exe" /server:87.237.38.50

put a space after the " then put in the ip line

somthing is wrong with the singularity server it keeps failing to start up the server eve is having a little trouble on the test server....... they better fix it :-\

@robotmaster123 hi if you notice when i paste in the server ip i put a space in between (\eve.exe" /server:87.237.38.50) if you forget the space it dont work

Wait what exactly is the test server for, years playing the game and I still don't know...

its for beta testing of new features and expansions before they are released on Tranquility like Dominion and its available to all players with active acounts.

Is there a way to access the test servers if you're using an EVE Client downloaded via the Steam Servers?

I honestly don't know i never used steam before but as the eve client is free to download from the eve website you can just make a separate install

and follow my instructions.

its for testing the new EVE patches before they come out so that its released with minimal bugs.

like beta testing.

those are wigits for vista if you click on add more wigits it will open a window with all the ones you have installed at the botom fo that window it has a link to find more online and you should find them somewhere in that site unfortunately i dont have that pc any more and im running xp again so i cant tell you the exact name of the wigit. hope this helps and thank you for the comment.
