You can read the bible and it not change you. The only time a person can change is if they are willing to change. God isn't going to force anything on you, nor is he going to show you the secrets of his spirit. He wants your heart first so he can change it to a pure loving kind & gentle heart filled with fire for Jesus. Then you will understand why we get so unaturally excited to be apart of God's healing power in our World. Ask, all u have to do is ask God to show you how real he is.

@tk1488 - People only ever believe what they want to believe. Within 5 minutes of seeing this video I found this video ("Jesus Heals Arm... TWICE!"). I, obviously have my own beliefs and bias, but it is hard to argue against the concept that some things happen that defy the laws of science. I know what it is to be skeptical, I don't just believe things anybody says, but you have to agree that what Bill Johnson is saying in this video is relatively harmless and extremely compassionate.

However, I don't subscribe to the idea that if there is no current explanation, it must be Jesus. Bills' words are harmless to consenting adults with open minds. However targeting the sick, poor and weak and filling them with false hope that they will get better is wrong. Not everyone can be a full-time millionaire pastor and author with a near-guaranteed income stream.

It would be one thing if they were asking for money, or stealing from them, or even telling them that something was wrong with there minds and that is why they aren't getting better, but that isn't the case. Typically they just go up to people and pray for them. Slightly akward, maybe. Potentially uplifting, also maybe. One last thing, Bill Johnson is not a millionaire.

I agree and disagree with him. I agree that we are responsible to live a Christ-like life on earth, not just morally by spiritually as well. However, WE CAN'T have his fullness down here because of OUR sinful nature. His fullness won't be possible until He returns. Second, what do you do when you pray for healing for someone and they're NOT healed? Is it the person's fault? Do they need to "believe" more?

I don't want to get into an arguement or anything, but I had a heart problem. I would have cases of tachycardia, because of a heart murmur during physical activity. I was majorly into football, and because this escalated I had to take a few weeks off to get a surgery. After it was over the episodes of tachycardia continued . I kept it silent so I could play my senior year of football, risking death.. At a conference with Bill Johnson. I was prayed for and I haven't had an episode since.

Get these miracles independently and medically verified and I can guarantee people would convert in their tens of millions, allowing them to propagate the same Jesus healing (if it is real). If people are so certain they have been healed, why don't they let people view the medical evidence?

If the evidence is there, why not share it with the world and help spread the message that Jesus loves? After all, didn't Jesus himself make a ministry of 'signs and wonders'?

All Bill needs to do is - with permission of those claiming to be healed - release proof from an independent, non-affiliated Doctor: a before and after X-ray or MRI scan. I think you have a few things backwards. First, true Christians follow God. Not Bill. Bill does not want anyone following him. Second, there is a new covenent through Jesus Christ. He commands his church to heal the sick, cast out demons, and live with power. So if you have a problem with that you probably should take it up with Jesus who commanded these things.

You will never find in the N.T. anyone saying "Don't knock God's anointed". I've heard "Bob" and he might have repented but he does not line up with the Bible at all. And that is why I said to pray for discernment. Paul warned of wolves in sheep's clothing.

I did watch that video and was less impressed than this one. The "Touch not God's anointed" in the context of the scripture means to not do physical harm. It does not mean that we cannot question or say something publicly. The context of this scripture, Samuel did speak out against the King (Saul) disobedience and David did no harm physically against Saul but also spoke out against him publicly. The Apostle Paul never said "Do not touch" or as you say knock one of God's anointed.

I'm just know better than to blame all of existence on an accident. I'm not willing to say that every love story, every great adventure, every beautiful ideosyncrasy, was nothing more than mere human nature leading us toward food and reproduction. Sure, science exists, I'm not ignorant. I believe that God made the Earth and all its workings. Who's to say that God isn't capable of defying it, or speeding it up? (healing processes) I think you have a bad case of 'its too good to be true'.

This show rests on observational selection and probably more than a little fraudulent claims. I can guarantee that praying for someone will produce little if any result in almost every single case. If it *appears* to do cause a major change, it's strictly incidental.
Thats virtually impossible to know, being as how almost everyone in the free world takes prescription drugs, when only a small minority believe in healing by faith.

Bill Johnson, and these others like him, teach a gospel different than Christ's---Bill calls it 'his gospel'---that we should not lay down what is most important in this lifetime and follow Him. Bill says we should all be rich, perfectly healthy, etc., and denies that God uses these things to help us grow spiritually despite why we received them. DO NOT FOLLOW THESE TEACHINGS---THEY WILL CRIPPLE YOUR WALK WITH GOD AND HURT THOSE AROUND YOU.
I would not want to believe a lie. Just because someone sees you on the street and promises you that you're going to be rich soon doesn't mean it's the truth. Truth is established by God's Word in the Bible, not by popular opinion or even some man who claims to be an apostle/prophet and claims to have authority to "expand God's Word under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit." These are Bill's words, and he calls this new prosperity doctrine "my gospel".

I have the gifts of prophecy, discernment and have received physical healing (the last of the gifts on the list in Scripture), but I value the spiritual gifts more than the temporary ones. I certainly believe in legitimate signs and wonders, but I know to be on guard against 'lying signs and lying wonders', as the Bible warns us about. These are flashy things that draw our attention towards worshipping the one who brings them rather than Christ.

I think there is an important balance in this. Bill isn't really the problem, it's some of the people who "follow" him. There are most certainly people who seek signs and miracles more than their relationship with God. Bill, in this interview is pushing the personal relationship issue, but most of the time he's a little lax on it. He certainly believes and understands it, but some people jump so far ahead and get infatuated with signs and wonders, that they lose sight of truth.
I believe you're starting to see the difference between the ones who truly love God and the ones who love signs and wonders. But you should abandon his teaching entirely. There is no justification for mixing lies with the truth.

Now I know everyone usually goes to the next part of the verse, but...lets stay with the first part. Jesus said; The works that I do, so shall you do also, and...John 14:12-15.
We are containers of the glory of God. Historically, religiously we have quenched God's spirit and have resisted working the works of Jesus. Jesus rebuked the disciples, not because they followed him for the miracles, but because they were fed. He wanted them to learn to work miracles themselves. Read Luke chapters 9 and 10 and Acts chapter 3 just for starters. Matthew 6:33 teaches us that we are to have the kingdom's result on earth. Work the works of Jesus while it is still day. Goooo!!
These signs shall follow them that believe...Operating in healing is a combination of the sovereign will of God and my faith in what God has said about my ability. Relationship preceeds performance. Its not about being showy, its about loving God, loving God's people and living the Word. Nothing is impossible to him that believes. Release the anointing brothers and sisters. Be healed in the name of Jesus, the Christ (Anointed). Even as He was, so are we in the earth. Glory!!!
You can read the bible and it not change you. The only time a person can change is if they are willing to change. God isn't going to force anything on you, nor is he going to show you the secrets of his spirit. He wants your heart first so he can change it to a pure loving kind & gentle heart filled with fire for Jesus. Then you will understand why we get so unaturally excited to be apart of God's healing power in our World. Ask, all u have to do is ask God to show you how real he is.

@tk1488 - People only ever believe what they want to believe. Within 5 minutes of seeing this video I found this video ("Jesus Heals Arm... TWICE!"). I, obviously have my own beliefs and bias, but it is hard to argue against the concept that some things happen that defy the laws of science. I know what it is to be skeptical, I don't just believe things anybody says, but you have to agree that what Bill Johnson is saying in this video is relatively harmless and extremely compassionate.

However, I don't subscribe to the idea that if there is no current explanation, it must be Jesus. Bills' words are harmless to consenting adults with open minds. However targeting the sick, poor and weak and filling them with false hope that they will get better is wrong. Not everyone can be a full-time millionaire pastor and author with a near-guaranteed income stream.

It would be one thing if they were asking for money, or stealing from them, or even telling them that something was wrong with there minds and that is why they aren't getting better, but that isn't the case. Typically they just go up to people and pray for them. Slightly akward, maybe. Potentially uplifting, also maybe. One last thing, Bill Johnson is not a millionaire.

I agree and disagree with him. I agree that we are responsible to live a Christ-like life on earth, not just morally by spiritually as well. However, WE CAN'T have his fullness down here because of OUR sinful nature. His fullness won't be possible until He returns. Second, what do you do when you pray for healing for someone and they're NOT healed? Is it the person's fault? Do they need to "believe" more?

I don't want to get into an arguement or anything, but I had a heart problem. I would have cases of tachycardia, because of a heart murmur during physical activity. I was majorly into football, and because this escalated I had to take a few weeks off to get a surgery. After it was over the episodes of tachycardia continued . I kept it silent so I could play my senior year of football, risking death.. At a conference with Bill Johnson. I was prayed for and I haven't had an episode since.

All Bill needs to do is - with permission of those claiming to be healed - release proof from an independent, non-affiliated Doctor: a before and after X-ray or MRI scan. And I've been wondering about these "Encounters" with God. Rather in specificity, these interactions between God that so happens to change lives drastically.
As many of you may know, when God went to go see Moses, Moses had to literally take his shoes off. And God didn't come as some, "Mystical voice" God came in the form of a burning bush! God even had to show Moses the backside of him passing by because his holy light could even kill.

I did watch that video and was less impressed than this one. The "Touch not God's anointed" in the context of the scripture means to not do physical harm. It does not mean that we cannot question or say something publicly. The context of this scripture, Samuel did speak out against the King (Saul) disobedience and David did no harm physically against Saul but also spoke out against him publicly. The Apostle Paul never said "Do not touch" or as you say knock one of God's anointed.

I'm just know better than to blame all of existence on an accident. I'm not willing to say that every love story, every great adventure, every beautiful ideosyncrasy, was nothing more than mere human nature leading us toward food and reproduction. Sure, science exists, I'm not ignorant. I believe that God made the Earth and all its workings. Who's to say that God isn't capable of defying it, or speeding it up? (healing processes) I think you have a bad case of 'its too good to be true'.

OF COURSE ITS IRRATIONAL. That would explain the centuries old concept of faith. Some people choose to believe that there are things that can't be explained away in a 16 word youtube comment. Sir, there are things in this world far greater than any thesis could explain. Life is not a coincidence. God is alive, and I can see why atheists would be so shocked, when he is moving so extravagantly.

Just be still and know he is God. Who are we to judge that is his Job. and this is irrational because we cant control it, believing in something bigger than u for something bigger. when one has a heart for God God comes through for them. Its by grace we have been set free..and where there is holy spirit there is freedom
When u see Gods love u want to pass it on, with arms open..that those that dont know will see, a joy that cannot be selfishly kept

When Pat Robertson got prostate cancer, he didn't turn to supposedly miraculous faith healing. Instead, he relied on se-cu-lar medicine.
This show rests on observational selection and probably more than a little fraudulent claims. I can guarantee that praying for someone will produce little if any result in almost every single case. If it *appears* to do cause a major change, it's strictly incidental.

Thats virtually impossible to know, being as how almost everyone in the free world takes prescription drugs, when only a small minority believe in healing by faith.

Though the minority is small, it's still large enough to take statistically significant samples. IT DOESN'T WORK.
Also, many faith healers have been shown to be fraudulent. Search on yt for 'Popoff Randi' for an example of a faker being exposed.

I have nothing against any of the questions you asked. I have prayed for healing on my own and received it. I have almost daily prayer time with God and read the Bible regularly. I know you don't understand why I am on this soapbox. I'll tell you---it's to defend God's sheep against the wolves. You can't speak softly to a wolf and expect Him to slink away. You have to use the sword of the Spirit---God's supreme living Word. I'm trying to keep you and others safe through the Holy Spirit.

Yes. Those with discernment must stand up for their brothers and sisters---and it's God who raised me to help you---He's the one you should credit. This guy is a threat. His personal message, claims of miracles, etc., cannot be trusted. I am not discounting that true believers who have become ensnared by his false teaching could experience miracles, but I hold no hope that anything this man says points back to Christ. It points to himself and his six-figure income.

Bill Johnson, and these others like him, teach a gospel different than Christ's---Bill calls it 'his gospel'---that we should not lay down what is most important in this lifetime and follow Him. Bill says we should all be rich, perfectly healthy, etc., and denies that God uses these things to help us grow spiritually despite why we received them. DO NOT FOLLOW THESE TEACHINGS---THEY WILL CRIPPLE YOUR WALK WITH GOD AND HURT THOSE AROUND YOU.

I would not want to believe a lie. Just because someone sees you on the street and promises you that you're going to be rich soon doesn't mean it's the truth. Truth is established by God's Word in the Bible, not by popular opinion or even some man who claims to be an apostle/prophet and claims to have authority to "expand God's Word under the inspiration of the Holy Spirit." These are Bill's words, and he calls this new prosperity doctrine "my gospel".

I'm saying that I believe in both. I have the gifts of prophecy, discernment and have received physical healing (the last of the gifts on the list in Scripture), but I value the spiritual gifts more than the temporary ones. I certainly believe in legitimate signs and wonders, but I know to be on guard against 'lying signs and lying wonders', as the Bible warns us about. These are flashy things that draw our attention towards worshipping the one who brings them rather than Christ.

Yes, Bill has called himself both an apostle and a prophet, just like his mentor, Benny Hinn. You do not know, bethy, if he is saved or not. Only God knows the heart. But you have given in to his false doctrine and his attractive way of speaking. I will only caution you based on my using the gift of discernment---he is acting like a wolf among the sheep. He is adding to Scripture. Paul says if anyone preaches a gospel other than what you were originally preached, let him be eternally damned.

Wrong twice. No, he does not claim to be a prophet. He prochesies, which is something Paul told all of us to do...and Benny Hinn is not his mentor. He has never even met him. He respects him for the man of God that he is and has read his book. Do you know Bill? It seems that you are making a lot of judgments on someone you don't appear to personally know. I might as well get on here and make a whole bunch of mean statements on here about you...but that would be wrong for me to do, why insist?

I think there is an important balance in this. Bill isn't really the problem, it's some of the people who "follow" him. There are most certainly people who seek signs and miracles more than their relationship with God. Bill, in this interview is pushing the personal relationship issue, but most of the time he's a little lax on it. He certainly believes and understands it, but some people jump so far ahead and get infatuated with signs and wonders, that they lose sight of truth.

We are containers of the glory of God. Historically, religiously we have quenched God's spirit and have resisted working the works of Jesus. Jesus rebuked the disciples, not because they followed him for the miracles, but because they were fed. He wanted them to learn to work miracles themselves. Read Luke chapters 9 and 10 and Acts chapter 3 just for starters. Matthew 6:33 teaches us that we are to have the kingdom's result on earth. Work the works of Jesus while it is still day. Goooo!!

Its not about being showy, its about loving God, loving God's people and living the Word. Nothing is impossible to him that believes. Release the anointing brothers and sisters. Be healed in the name of Jesus, the Christ (Anointed). Even as He was, so are we in the earth. Glory!!!
