NO...those are twin 525 supercharged mercruisers, numnuts. You couldn't fit twin 1075's on that boat (even if they made 1075hp gas engines for fountain)...I mean seriously...a boat that size with 2150 hp...get a clue.

I have been in a 42 with 1200s that clocked at 142mph. You can put 1075s/1200s in just about anything that can fit a no 6 drive.

Thats an awesome boat..i love fountains..the only thing that sucks is those engines cost like 137 grand a piece and only come with a 90 day warranty cause they are racing engines..The engine new above that one the 1200hp has no warrenty that comes with it so hope one takes great care of it

ummm yep. The pricing your looking at is a "package price". Which is for the motor and the drive. Motors are about $100K each.

Thats not idle. If he had a video of the idle not right after start. Like every engine when it starts it revs higher than than after its been running. than brought back down do idle. You can't go from a sound just after start.

Those aren't Merc engines, their quad rotor 1075s don't have that camshaft "lope". And who would want Merc 1200s that have to use 112 avgas??? Lots of engine builders build 1200+ motors that can run on 93 octane pump gas.

Tommy at Chief has a 12 month warranty on his new 1200 twin turbo motors and Bob Teague warrantees his 1200 quad rotor and 5 liter Whipple 1200s. Paul Pfaff probly has a warranty program too.

Don't know about any others, but the better builders like Ron Potter(ex Nor Tech) Dean Gellner and Eddie Young will stand behind their motors and they might offer warranties too.

Its true. Happened at lake travis I think. The boat was a 32 fountain. The hull and deck seperated after a launch off a cruiser wave and it hit the water bad ejecting the father and daughter. The boat had some structural fiberglass repair prior to the wreck. Suspect. RIP little girl.
