Once again there was tension between Miles and Monk when Miles asked Monk to lay out  during his solo on this the third and last song of their set. Miles was never happy soloing with Monk behind him.

@aarfeld no wonder... i would personally find it hard to solo over the backing monk's laying down in the early goings of this piece

@composerzane: Many often did find it hard. It took a while playing with Monk to figure out how to fit in with his style.
