Eternal security isn't even secure-if you fall away, you're told you were never saved to begin with. And if you continue in sin you can still be saved in your view(which goes against 1 John 2:1-10, 1 John 3:1-10 and against the fact that sin=spiritual death), it doesn't change when you become a Christian from a non-Christian. You make God unjust and go against 1 Cor:6:9-10 and Rev 21:8 as a warning to believers. In your view, a Christian cannot truly know their saved til they're dead.

If you want further proof, look up the Greek... it's a continuous tense.

Ah yes, John 10--the "hear/follow" is a continuous tense again in the Greek. It actually lends further to a conditional argument again. If you really wish to be consistent, it's more contextual to say He was speaking of the 12 disciples--and 1 of them still fell. For 3 years Judas was a faithful follower of Christ, preaching and casting out devils(with the Spirit)--yet he fell away... so you see further the conditional. Wow! John 18:9 ..really? all the disciples abandoned Jesus...

No... that's a straw-man, you can know you're saved--that's exactly what 1 John 5:13 says. If you're obeying and abiding in Him, not living in sin--you can know you're saved. Many times in 1 John, John wrote "I write these things to you..."--if you read the entire epistle it's clear he wanted them to know they could know they have salvation--but it's based on a continuous faith and obedience.

The seal is faith? That's not in Scripture at all, that's a horrid interpretation.

there is nothing divine about putting people in hell. No human would ever do that to their child, no matter what they did. SO its a safe bet to say that pure love would not either.

No, but a just judge would punish people. You would raise one quality of God above another, forgetting He is a good and just judge--and for that He will punish people. It's not part of the "institute of religion"--it's clearly laid out in Scripture, Rev 20:10, Rev 21:8... "part in the lake which burneth(continues to burn) with fire and brimstone: which is the second death."

Eternity has a prison--it's eternal. For lying you will have your part in that lake unless you repent.

Sad that some Christian are too judgemental. Many of them lean towards saved by works instead of saved by Grace.
