I don't believe that the R160s are going on the Whiskey until I see it. If they have enough 160 to cover that part time line when they are done then yeah they will go on the Whiskey.

The R can receive r160s to replace the 10 R32s per day at all times for only R32 not R46.

i really dont get why the MTA only uppdates the most current ones. the N line had (and the Q line currently) runs R68 models which are not that old, and in fact are in great shape. they were built in 1987. But the B line, A line, F line, E line and more are running old (and the ones that are not in good shape) r40/R40s R32s which shoild be replaced, not the R68s.

Don't bring up the 32s. They are in good shape and will remain in service for years to come. R32s are the best trains in the system. R68s are Pieces of junk. They have a delay in the breaking and are slow as hell. The R42s/Slants/40Ms are all in good shape.

The old trains are all being replaced, but indirectly. For example, the R160s were placed on the N. The displaced R68s went on the W, indirectly replacing the R40s.

I think that when the Q gets R160s the displaced R68s will go on the B, replacing those R40s. Though this is completely unfounded.

it might have been working, it could have just been the conductor's choice not to turn them on before. i doubt it though it's probably the conductor didn't know how to use it. I'm not sure.
