Dwight Howard currently has just over 6400 rebounds in his career, averaging 1031.5 for his first 6 years in the NBA. Wilt Chamberlain, on the other hand, 1708.86 rebounds a year for 14 years, accumulating 23,924 rebounds. Dwight Howard would have to maintain his current average for 24 NBA seasons to reach Wilt. I don't think that can be considered "on pace."
