This game was made in 2000 when flash was at version 3, I could have used sprite based graphics but the goal was to make the entire game a 5mb download and using sprites would have forced over 15mb in 2000, when broadband wasnt as wide spread as it is today so that's why the game looks like it does.

I tried Planeshift a while ago but it was still in mac beta and I couldn't get it to work, Eternal Lands I havn't tried.

If you have a newer Intel Mac then you could run Windows on it so you can still play Maple Story if you want.

Me personally I play the games that cost money online anyway like Unreal Tournament, Warcraft 3, Starcraft, Diablo 2, Halo, Call Of Duty 4 etc.

Sorry but this looks pretty, "Old fashioned" for mmo's.. I know mmo's don't have to be 3D but "Conquer Online" is 2D but its graphics are alot better than this, this is only my opinion do not flame me for it.
