Beautiful, beautiful song though it isn't Elvis singing. It is, however, it is a beautiful song.and is the songwriter Carroll Roberson who is a Gospel singer. This is certainly the type of Gospel song Elvis would have chosen to record.
I too don't think it's Elvis' voice .... but it's close. Very nicely sung and I think it may be my new favorite song. Very beautiful! On my second listen. :)
This is not Elvis' voice. They may have found it in his belongings but this is not his voice. I've listened to his voice since I was 5 and I'm 56 years old and this isn't his.
For everyone that is confused, this is Carroll Roberson. I'm a good friend of Carroll and this is him singing. However, he did impersonate Elvis years ago before he surrendered to preach and sing. He also was a county music artist. Also, this song is available on his website. I ordered it and have sang it several times in church.
yes this song is by carrol roberson but evis recorded it to. this song fits elvis so much. elvis did not kid around with his religish songs and my mom just got a book about elvises life and did not know about elvis intill she said his name. he is a guy that cares about everyone.
Yes, this is Carroll Roberson, not Elvis. However, Carroll Roberson reminds me a lot of Elvis; when he sings songs that have also been recorded by Elvis, they are in the same style. He even sort-of looks like an Elvis picture I've seen from the 60s. I don't know for sure, but I've always suspected that Carroll Roberson is an Elvis fan.
I am a born-again Christain since I was 25, now I am going toward 73 very soon. Carroll Robertson, you have a beautiful voice. Just not Elvis's voice. In Christ's Love, Shirl Daffron Hodge Cooper
I know my adopted brother. When I was 15 I adopted Elvis into my heart a my brother. I am now 72. People this is not Elvis Presley. No one loved Elvis more than I did and my family can tell you I know Elvis's voice and this is not his voice. Shirl Daffron Hodge Cooper
this really needs reported to epe, i have done it before and may just do it again this is really misleading to some that do not really know elvis voice or a elvis fan, why do you people lie just to get elvis fans attention, it is wrong and nothing but a pure lie
why do they put elvis presley when they know it is not i could tell right off it is not elvis, another way to get your attention, a nice song but why lie about it being elvis and saying a lost song, this is one thing i hate about u tube
this would have ben a great song for elvis to have recorded, it sounds like a song he would have liked to do , this guy does ok but not close to what elvis would have done to it to make it a greater even song elvis had a way to make his songs sound so much better
Carroll Robinson. He has a wonderful voice with the pitch similar, but, there's no mistaking Elvis Presley.I sure would have loved to HAVE heard Elvis do this one, though!
The song, One Pair of Hands, was composed by Billie Campbell and Manny Kurtz; it is not an Elvis Presley song. On the video, the song is performed by Carroll Roberson, with the Publisher’s rights to sing it. French and English translator for French and English Communication Services
HOW MISLEADING!! SAYS Elvis and it's NOT Elvis NOT!!! How can a person be so deceptive to say Elvis is singing when he is NOT!!! InternalGamingClan You should be ashamed. People who aren't big fans might not know it's not. No one had a voice like Elvis.
If you have listened to Elvis since 1956, you know it's just not Elvis; such a beautiful performance & video, it says by Carroll Roberson. Al Martino & Glen Campbell also did awesome versions of this song years ago.
My wife and I are both fans of Carroll and this is our favorite song by Carroll. Beautiful, Beautiful song superbly performed by Carroll Roberson. By the way; this is a very difficult song to sing; especially in the same Key as Carroll. I know; I purchased Soundtrack from Carroll. GREAT POST. Thank you.
Very nice song but not Elvis. I knew from first word. But maybe not that many people would have listene d without his name being there. Knowing E maybe he wouldn't have minded so much in that case.
Encase you all are wondering... Elvis did sing Gospel Music, this Carroll sounds very close to Elvis's voice and should be commended and reconized as Great as Elvis. Not to many people can come close to Elvis's voice but Carroll can. Either way this song really touched my heart, it even made me cry, the message is beautiful! Glory to God and the king on high!!
It's a Beautiful song and video all the way around, yes it does sound like ELVIS in certain parts of the song. I cant believe all the negativity people have. God bless~

nice song Way to go Elvis, Beautiful song how did this song get lost never ever heard it before . Never heard it song by a impersonator either and heard many sing like Elvis:) pass this along was beautiful to hear and watch it on the You TUBE
This song was written by Carroll Roberson as indicated in the opening credits. I don't believe it is Carroll who is singing this version. I have heard his version and this voice sounds to deep for Carroll. Google One pair of Hands and you will find lots of work by Carroll Roberson, or Carroll Roberson.com. It is definitely not Campbell as his range is much higher. But definitely a beautiful and inspiring song.
Not Presley - not even close - listen to any song by Elvis Presley, for example, Stand by me", and you can tell the difference - Presley's voice was much deeper and much more powerful - even when he sang a quiet song.

I have nothing to back it up. Elvis is dead and Roberson does not have this song available on his website that I could find. I listened to several of Carrolls songs and there is a distinctive difference in the voice of Elivs and Carroll and I don't think anyone could confuse them but if he did sing this song, my hats off to him sounding like Elvis but I don't believe it and you would have to have something to back that up. Tag, you're it!
This video, "One Pair of Hands" may have been sung by Glen Campbell and authored and sung by Carroll Roberson but in this rendition it is sung by Elvis. If you go to Carroll Roberson's website and listen to his songs you will know he is not singing this rendition. And, I agree the song is excellent and the video is perfect.
@gordy779 Of course you have something to back up that statement, right Gordy? Besides the "it sounds like Elvis, so it must be him" argument. I don't believe that Elvis ever sang this song, and I think it sucks that the Roberson isn't given proper credit. He is the one singing this rendition.
When it says it is Carroll Roberson in the opening, why is it labeled as Elvis??? Though a wonderful rendition, I suppose maybe reminiscent of Elvis to some, it's not him. I first knew it by Glen Campbell in the 1970s, & that is wonderful, too. Written by Manny Kurtz & Billie Campbell. Such a beautiful & inspiring song, done very well here, the video is fantastic! Need to give credit where credit is due. Well done, everyone! Just not written or performed by Elvis.
I don't know Carroll Roberson, But this is one great song. I hope he has more songs to hear. I think Elvis would have loved this song. Thanks for sharing this great song.
@DON470 well I am confused, Is it Elvis or Carroll Roberson? I know one thing its a great song and i saved it so i can listen to it any time i wont to.
