one of the most beautiful ads i can remember from my youth, i love the transition from the scene in a foreign land to the service on board the aircraft, one of the few ads that really makes strong links between excitement of travel, good and thoughtful service and a brand promise, the light effect is also so evocative, like a dream or imaginative landscape, it's almost like light is made physical
@am1966ath wow, looks like we have good relations. i saw this adv around 1988, and my brother recorded this music on an audio tape from tv, still have it somewhere. There were a few more adv that came after one or two yrs.
@killersnake666 I remember because I flew SIA Copenhagen-Paris(Orly)-Colombo-Singapore in October 1986 and in their inflight magazines,Silver Kris was an advertisment for their flight inaugaration,Singapore-Dhaka-Calcutta and V&V.
Then I hardly knew about Bangladesh but then a made some great bangladeshi friends in my work and 2years ago I flew into Dhaka...bangladeshi are great people,fun,hospitable and generous....but few outsiders know anything about bangladesh except negative things.
@killersnake666 they started flying to Vancouver that year..unfortunately now they are big and perfect..the adventerous spirit is gone and Singapore is so dull in comparison to Delhi,Bangkok or Mumbai.
@am1966ath lol, I am planning to move to singapore and work there!! I am in USA now, but I don't like it here. One of my friends said singapore is really cool. I already looked up some jobs, but haven't applied yet. Some Bangladeshi people are nice, but our govt is filled with illiterate thiefs, thus we have a major problem. Dhaka is a fun place to staye as well, if you one gets a good job :)
