Thanks very much for your efforts Bill. Its somewhat amazing to me the apathy regarding this most fundamental issue~monetary reform that is. I've been trying to understand what are the exact factors which prevent people from thinking rationally about our very irrational money system? Do people have some perverse unconscious wish to be slaves? Or is it simple resignation? Or pragmatism?

chase bank wants you to be in debt for life . they are going to make you slaves and there is nothing you can do about it unless , you tell wall street to STOP bonus pay out of over 40 million . the same people who killed the econmoy will be getting 250million in bonuses .

I've noticed that some sellers on Amazon have the film available now. Perhaps this situation is starting to turn around? :-)

By the way, there is no such thing as money whose value is completely determined by the free market. Governments must decide what money they will accept in payment of fees and/or taxes; this affects the value of money. Thus, all money is "fiat" money.

It's not about what backs your money, but about WHO controls its quantity.

Well just please take a look at U.S. monetary history and keep an open mind. Buy The Secret of Oz. If you don't like it, return it for a full refund. That applies to everyone.

With all due respect, you are almost right.

There are many commodities in the world, metals, corn, wheat, etc.... and don't exclude money from that list.

Money can be looked at as a commoditiy and when it is, it is tradable against other commodities.

With that being said, why would anyone base the value of one commodity paired to another to create a single valued commodity? Not to mention the wide open door for corruption.

Do your historical research on gold backed currencies.

Personally, I would prefer that the States create this debt-free money supply while Congress dictates the aspects, appearance, and anti-counterfeiting measures of the currency.

Also, I would still allow for the People to use or refuse whatever private currencies they wished, but only the national currency would have legal tender status. You have the right to defend yourself against a mugger, but it's not up to you to decide how long he rots in prison. Judges have been delegated that power.

There is no question gold can be an effective private investment and a hedge against inflation, but it doesn't work as a basis for money.

If you believe that government should be limited to the proper functions of protecting our rights, a debt-free public currency is consistent with that philosophy. I consider the national debt to be an act of aggression.

Just wanted to say I had purchased Secret of Oz from WorldNetDaily and already viewed it when I read about the Amazon ban.

I've always believed that sound money was backed by something like gold rather than a fiat currency. Your movie made me reconsider.

The Amazon ban was an interesting development considering they don't seem to ban anything no matter how dangerous, offensive or deviant. Very interesting.

I agree. Three days and nine DVDs later? That's not long enough to even get the post office to deliver a single DVD. AND... that occurred over the weekend.

Any reasonable person capable of even a minute degree of formal operational thinking can digest and understand Mr. Still's message.... and what an important message it is.
