Nice review! I thoroughly agree with your comments about gameplay vs graphics, although you didn't mention text based games, some of which were pretty darn good back in the day, and the graphics for some of those were literally non-existant - all the action took place in your head.

Incubation - for me the best game ever! Now I don't play that much like I did when I was younger - most games are forgotten and sometimes I think I should have played less. But Incubation ist deep in my heart and mind :-). It was realy great.
