take piece of tin foil and put it in your earphone jack but make it long enough to pull out if it doesn't work

get a hair dryer and point it to the speaker of the psp then leave it off for about a minute or less

Hey the GUY with the cotton swab is rite I tried it and it work only thing I didnt have cotton so I rolled up a piece of tissue and put some alcohol and stick it in and dried it roll up tissue and blow in it put the headphones in after a 30secs bam music it really works

Well I have a problem with my psp too I bought new headphones on my birthday because my old ones broke. And well when i bought the headphones I tried them on my psp it worked and all so I was satisfied, I woke up and put them in and all i could hear is the music comming straight from the psp speakers. I turned off the psp with the headphones in, and then I could hear with only the headphone, and when I took them out no sound.

its easy.. this worked for me :P

heres what i did.

I got a cotten swab (took of the cotton) then I soaked one side with water and the other i kept

dry. I put the wet part inside the headphone jack

and cleaned it out. then dried it out with th other side.

i blew in it for 10 seconds

wha-lah o_o it worked

hmmm so u dropped it huh.. did u try connecting the headphones in? if you can hear sound with headphones then i got a video you can try out. type in psp speaker fix on youtube and look for a 6'd00cie video. its real ghetto but it works. hope this helps you out.

yeah man same thing happened to mine i dropped it once in my life from like three years of having it and the audio is destroyed! i read the other guys comment, i might try it, take it apart and attempt to fix it, maybe even a wire is just loose or something.

yo dude i knw whats wroung with yur psp. the part were u put yur head phone is the problem the entire part were u put the headphone is messed up and it is also coneected with yur wifi so if u can get a new piece were u put the head phone in let a friend fix it for u if they knw what they r doing. get back at me

and i con anly hear sound out of one ear.

i tried cleaning it but it was no good.

i think im going to open it and see what i can do.

i think it might be a conection problem. I wiggle the headphones and the sound comes back on both ears.
