when i worked for american infrastructure we had a 365 that i ran and we tested a cat 730 and our volvos with 15k hrs on em smoked the brand new cats and deers. jus saying
@gardiner271 Just because you sucked enough dick to get out of a 345 and into a 1250 it doesn't make you any more of an operator or any less of a retard. I bet I could still load a truck faster, and I'll stay in the 385.
@vantagetes hahaha come talk to me when your done beating off to an 8000 and actually get in one. i move more dirt in 12 hours than you have in your life.
trade u jobs lol. Getting tired of diggin around gas lines and working around powerlines. I enjoy stripping pre-loads into rock trucks and tri-axle T&Ps, but it only takes like a weak lol. where do u work anyhow?
The mud in that bucket is not much. The shit that sticks in my bucket is more than that thing loaded... it does make it feel sluggish on my 1800. Can you feel that on your 385?
Most enjoyable 385 vid. I think people are making too big a deal of the material sticking to teh bucket. Wet topsoil or "stacked swamp" is going to be sticky no matter what. Add in that it's well below freezing and the metal bucket is cold, that stuff is going to stick constantly to everything. And spending time to clean it out is just going to waste production time. Even exhaust liners in the truck beds aren't gonna work too good with this material/conditions.
@533nick Not really, Bell has virtually a 0 market share around here due to the fact that when they built trucks for John Deere they managed to do a piss poor job of it. As for there being a 50 tonner... we call those 773's.
@farlinj Easy there killer he does ask a few good question. A thing to remember is a good operator is always changing his technique to best suit the conditions.
@redheadedduckhunter also saftey precations just incase a rock or sumthing falls out of the bucket it wont hit the cab of the truck and injure the driver
@kickermcdogg Actually its because its faster. Its probably easier to drop things on the cab loading this way unless you have a good feel for exactly how much dirt you need for the last scoop.
loading like a pro at 1:54 boom down then nek minute your playing with the dirt, full reach on your ME digger.. come on pro.. no requirment to cycle your dipper arm loading trucks
@EarthwurmJurm Ok chief, first off this isn't an ME its a GP setup with an 8yd bucket. That means that its got less breakout so a longer cut is needed. Second the pile is 15ft of stacked swamp. If you bury the bucket and yank up only one thing is happening, you're sinking to your windsheild. That's also the reason I cut on the right the left was starting to sink. As for backing up the less you move the longer the pile holds you up.
I understand the first bucket you are leting the truck get close I don't understand why you don't walk back and load the material closest to him then pull the the rest over while you are waiting for a truck?
the first bucket you dug was the one closet to the truck when there was no truck there then you go and dig all the way over on te other side of your bench? seems counter-producitve to me..

Greetings from Germany ;), thanks for posting those awesome Videos!
I've got one question: Whats the temperature on the outside? If your having trouble loosening the dirt with a 90t digger, it must be like -50°C ;).
And if you get yourself a trowel and clean up your bucket, you might load those 740s with 2 scoops ^^.

Why do you load from the back of the truck to the front?
redheadedduckhunter 1 month ago
@redheadedduckhunter If you start from the back you essentially build a tailgate which will allow you to get more dirt in the truck.
