i would really love to see this film, i believe it was done as a mini series right? i only been back in USA for about 3 months now hahah, when i was back in Indonesia i heard about this film and was excited because my grandfather fought then, started when he joined the Japanese army after there "liberation" of Indonesia, then shortly there after he joined the resistance and fought the Japanese and then the dutch came back and he fought them too, he has awesome war stories to tell :D

Kayaknya terlalu terang pencahayaannya yah..., coba agak seperti mendung dikit, untuk memberi kesan dramatis.

Kostum pemain juga agak kurang klasik dan kurang lusuh, untuk kesan natural dimana perang berhari-hari tentu jarang ganti baju. Untuk koreksi dikit sih, soalnya habis nonton Saving Private Ryan...

There's no shame for that at all! In fact, the special effects on some of the best non-American / European films are in fact handled by American / European companies. They are the experts, after all. Indonesian SFX companies can learn a lot from them and hopefully we can produce something of equal quality someday.

Anyway, this film is directed and produced by Indonesian filmmakers, apart from the special effects.

I was the special effects supervisor on this movie, yes I am a white European but have have been living in Asia for the last 5 years because I love the culture and the people. On this project I worked with a crew consisting of myself and 28 local guys who I taught many new techniques and skills. Thouse skills are now in Indonesia forever with the talented local guys with whom it was my pleasure to work.

Kudos for the excellent work - the effects looks awesome! I'm very excited to watch this film, for it's been awhile since they make a war-themed film in Indonesia. And enlisting the expertise of your company is indeed a wise foray on the producer's part. It certainly 'pimps up' a local Indonesian production! Hope the rest of the film is just as excellent.
