Ok, the anger problem is a somewhat common one I've come across with other YT users when I've tried to used good-natured parodies to play devil's advocate; however, I wouldn't worry about InfoWarriors or similar folks as "violence prone." Quite honestly, the anger talk is just that...talk. I don't take my detractors seriously, & you shouldn't either, even if they wish you dead. You shouldn't be concerned, at all.

I've spent quite a lot of time in New Zealand, having worked for the Te Papa Tongarewa in Wellington for six years.

The people in New Zealand are really nice.

Which raises the question, why do you care about truthers? Why not focus on nazis or scientologists? Also, social proof is not an objective way of discerning truth

Many seem to sincerely believe that I am a government agent. I am in fact a person who is concerned about civil liberties and keeping a close watch on government. There I find common ground with the truth movement. However, I believe the truth movement's paranoia is poison to the expression of legit

I think the reason truthers are depised by both left and right is due to the fact truthers have sympathies that swing both left and right and the nuttiness (my subjective opinion) distracts from the real isues that both sides care about.

@infowarsnz concerns. I think the truth movement probably does more to preserve the status quo than maybe even the mainstream media. I don't think the activism of the truth movement is particularly useful because of the cartoonish, paranoid way in which most truthers conduct themselves. I think the truth movement makes it easier to dismiss all critics of those in power. You have to concede that as an outsider I am offering you a perspective on the truth movement you can't possibly have.
