  • r u shore that is your first because you are amazing!!!!!!!!

  • @tortoisekid31 yep. Iv ridden western pleasure before (not lessons) thats just about it

  • For the first time? VERY GOOD!

  • @MailinlovesMozart why, thank you(:

  • ur really good

  • AND POSTIN THT HORSEBAK RIDIN SCHOOL IS LOCO IN DA BRAIN!!!

  • @jdaccece200 what on earth are you talking about?

  • @pony66360 u said it was ur 1st horsebak ridin lesson

  • @jdaccece200 ok? and...?

  • wow ur 1st horsebak ridin lesson n already 2point tht crazy...not lik a good crazy a BAD crazy seriously

  • @jdaccece200 no its not? I has strong progression and confidence, she and I know when im ready to move up

  • @jdaccece200 no its not. i posted on my 2nd lesson! theres nothin rong with erly lernin!

  • @jdaccece200 They have her in a two point to teach her to put her heals down. Seriously people? Learn how to teach someone to ride before you go commenting on the video

  • @KatiexKIRA i already kno how to ride a horse i been doin it for lik 7yrs ok....gosh

  • @jdaccece200 But what does that have to do with this person and her 1st riding lesson? Ive been riding for the last 16 years....

  • where was this taken at?

  • Gah.. I want horse leasongs! They seem so amazing and fun. Well I am a animal lover so I think I will like it. Plus I really want to get my fear of bucking, bolting and REARING. Over with. I love riding horses but I tend to tense up, I need to learn to relax. lol

  • @Bugie78 i was like that at a young age. unfortunatly, the best way to overcome that fear is to experience it. afraid to be bucked off? get bucked off. once you have the experience, you will expect the things that will happen and be will alot less nervous the next time. iv had 2 major falls. broke my arm the first one and had a concussion the second. sense i know whats happened, im ready for the next fall. and its honestly not that bad because it happens so quickly

  • @pony66360 Yeah, if your lucky when riding a horse, if u are able to keep your horses head up, then it should be easer. Wow. broke a arm and had a concussion falling off. Were u jumping cause they told me at Seaton Hackney Stables that u can't get seriosuly hurt just falling of. Well I guess it depends. Yeah I had a horse kick when I was on it and it was not that bad. Knowing the person I trust was next to me. Thanks for the tips. Very usful. :)

  • @Bugie78 They honestly lied to you. You could very easily become seriously injured JUST falling (I fell jumping). You could try to catch your fall with your hands by instinct (how I broke my arm). You could get dragged in the stirrups. You could be stepped on. you could get kicked, you can land on your head, etc. It is easy to become hurt if you don't know how to react to the fall. Sometimes, its so unexpected and you cant prepare for it. Its a dangerous sport, but don't let that stop u

  • @pony66360 Thanks.. now I know for certain Seaton Hackeny lies.... they probally jest tell me that so I don't freak out. Sorry u broke your arm. Yeah they say in my riding book that is a bad idea where to stick out a hand when falling. I think it is already better but u yeah.I perfer western to english cause there is a (I forgot the name but it is like a handle) so if u feel like u are gonna fall of just hold on. Jk. I know to never hand on the handle cause u rise out of the saddle.

  • @Bugie78 Here where I live, its required you sign a riding document that states that the barn is NOT responsible for deaths OR injuries to a rider due to riding. That just goes to show it IS possible, but its not super likely to happen. if you listen to your trainer, try hard, and do exactly as they say, you will have small chances of being in a bad accident. Every rider falls at least ONCE. whether its a bad one or not is up to you.

  • @pony66360 Wow. I go to horse summer camp at seaton hackney in NJ. And thier is no contract stating that. I almost fell of a horse once but I was side ways and it was a race and the horse was troting. I hanged on to the saddle and won't let go. The reason that happen was that the ppl were letting the stiriups be too sort for me and I could not get balence. On top of that is I can't trot very good. So bad that the person I trust who actually knows what she is doing, had to hold my legs

  • @pony66360 Adding, to last sentence- I know very pathectic. lol U in this video were great at riding I wish I had more confent like when u ride. Good job :)

  • you were good

  • You look older my first lesson i was 4 years old (i don't jump jumping sucks) I have been for 11 years im 15 years old I have been to lots of horse shows i go around the world for diffrent shows ;}

  • @cacatcatcatcxg no i was just 12 in this. 15 now. and jumping dusnt suck by any means

  • @pony66360 Jumping has takeing over the pink oka horse show, its mosly jumping the whole time..boring. To me it sucks. The jumping barns well the math is not right. I ride engilsh and i think its better 100% Jumping only fun to watch for like 5 minutes, its boring. Cantering Galloping, Troting anything els you can think of is fun. (jumping sucks)

  • @cacatcatcatcxg then sweetheart, you havnt been to enough horse shows. Most shows have an equal amount of flat and jumping. I don't get how you find going in circles at different speeds in a ring is ANY bit more entertaining then actually putting forth effort to tackle an obstacle and remember a complicated course. Don t give opinions until you actually experience the whole thing. Have a nice day.

  • im taking lessons soon! ahahaahaah! but im nervous to :{

  • @wolfsrule100 like knowme400 said when you are at the stable a lot of the nerves will go away, and for me the were replaced by excitment. i hope you have fun!

  • @Kitty56isamazing Thanks!

  • Your really good for a beginner, of course this was 3 years ago so your probably amazing due to the talent in this video. Best of luck, Riders forever <3

  • @WillowFieldinc thank you! my more recent rides have also been posted :)

  • @xxxDeepxBluexxx, I was nervous for my first lesson, but trust me, as soon as you're at the stable and on the horse, the nervousness will be gone! (At least it did for me) It's SO FUN!!!!!!

  • Ah, I can't wait for my first lesson! Although, I must admit I'm a bit nervous. :D

  • how old were u ???

  • your an amazing rider! i ride too! great joooob<33

  • @shopalot514 thank you! The more recent ones are much better though..

  • @pony66360 ill go check them out! <3 (:

  • the horse that you were riding was adorable whats his name?? :)

  • bahaha that pony at the beginning flapping his lip is adorable!

  • ohh thankss!(: and your welcomee!

  • where is that at?? and you did a wonderful job!

  • @thealexys11 Falcon Ridge. thanks!

  • I'm pretty sure that English not horse back, am I right? I may e mistaken. And for safety reasons you defiantly should NOT be off lead rope on lesson 1, it takes about 4 months to get off lead where I'm from, you have to be in control in trot I be let off

  • @123Brieeee um 4 months is WAAY too long to be on a lead. Sorry for you. Not everyone learns to ride freakin slow. Not everybody learns at the same pace sweetie. Get over it. Im doing fine

  • @123Brieeee When I started riding, I nver was on a lead rope. I think it's better that you learn how to on your own without someone doing everything for you and you just sit there and think your doing stuff when really you not

  • thats not horse back

  • @m0veslikejagger9800 um last time i checked i was on a back of a horse hunny

  • @pony66360 i thought horseback riding was when you ride a horse without a saddle.

  • @MissSeraphicCharm nope. riding without a saddle is called bareback. horseback is referring to any kind of riding

  • first ridding leason i had was wen i was 5 and i didnt have any raines to hold i was told to learn how to ballence first

  • @beccabieber105 ya thats hard to do in an english saddle. One day I had to ride no reigns, hands strait up. no stuirrups. cantering and trotting.

  • I understand why your trainer would have you do two point so early. I don't agree with it but I understand why. I just wonder why she had you do trotting so early on. Is this your very very first time riding a horse ever, or just your first time riding English?

  • @SecretMexicannn first time English. Iv ridden western but it was always at a walk from what I remember. And being 12, its a fairly older stage to start as of most people starting and super young age. I had "visual" experience.my friend started out doing the same. trotting and 2 point first lesson. Iv had 3 trainers and iv progressed for years very well

  • u r u doing 2 point so early?? this is a bad teacher NOT your fault for all the bad comments :)

  • @birdlover121314 shes not a bad teacher. Iv watched my friend ride many times and iv done western riding. I was the one who chose to do it all. If I felt ready, then id tell her. Don't start blaming my trainer for what she didn't do. Thanks.

  • @pony66360 oh sorry..... :))))))

  • @birdlover121314 PLUS I wanted to build up the muscles quickly because I was very anxious to move on. She knew I wasn't scared and that I looked god the first half so thats what we did

  • I ride english to!! i going to be in the pin oka horse show look for me!!

  • if its your first lesson why are you doing a two point?! seriously she should have talked about how the heels need to be down and how to sit up straight, chin up, sshoulders realxed and back, and chest up and out, and hands up, and correct lenth and how to lenthen, BUT NO TWO POINT!!!

  • @EpicBlueSpikes at my first lesson i two pointed

  • If your riding English you can't put weight on one stirrup to get on

  • @FullmetalTrigun27Dn ya u can

  • not bad for ur first lesson =)

  • People people, gallop is not cantering, and its called posting when supposedly they call it bouncing.

  • She's riding far too short but good try

  • wow u did a really good job. i remeber my first lesson they put me on a 17 hh horse 6 years old and a bucking machine. they said the sooner you get bucked off the better. so i got bucked off a dozen times.

  • u should wear breeches,,, good job 4 first lesson

  • wer was this?

  • @sunflowergirlz1 Falcon Ridge

  • Hey i am lurning how to horseride and i can walk turn trot canter and galop im very good im good like you and i will put on youtube the film ok? :P

  • I started at 9 and i can walk trot canter gallop jump at 10 it toke me half a year to learn

  • @AmberSkyeForever took me half a year also

  • @AmberSkyeForever Is anyone interested in this? No.

  • @Skattla89 dont be rude.

  • @AmberSkyeForever can u jump?

  • wow. u r the only person that i know that started at the age of 12 !!! (gd thing btw, coz i am 12!!!)

  • considering that was ur first lesson

u improved really quickly and u look really confident :)

  • you look really good :)

love the horse he is soo gorgeous!

  • she looks sooo bouncy at the trot

  • @7cowgirl1 no, hes not

  • @7cowgirl1 That's not bouncy at the trot, that's called POSTING. You are supposed to POST when you trot. When the front right foot goes up, you go up. When it goes down, you go down. You have to do this to learn balance with the trot.

  • She doesn't look like this is her first time. She looks really calm and comfortable.

  • lol how old were you there cause in your most recent riding videos you look way talle and older not like a granny lol and i love vivian what days do u go ?xx

  • @oliviaaelliott i was 12 in this, im 15 now. Yes, im much taller in the legs. I ride Saturday mornings

  • thats adorable in the beginning!!

  • @taetae223 i know! <3

  • I had my first Rodin lesson today (I've ridden before so I know the basics) and we worked diagonals, and position. My horses name was Walker, a flaxen chestnut sabino APH gelding. But, he had a western bridle with english reins and saddle, LOL!

  • @pony66260 i worded that wrong... as I always do... I mean is the process hard to remember :-/ x

  • @pony66360 cool, thanks. I have a terrrrrible memory justwondering is it hard to remember to tack up!! Sounds stupid i know but shortness of memory I'm KNOWN FOR! ;D Thanks xoxoxo

  • i learned myself, and off my sister+she learned off her trainer on her first lesson your ment to know that before riding, ask your trainer or staff or the yard?

  • I'm still on my first few lessons now but I was just wondering this one question: At about what lesson do you learn to groom/tack-up/muck-out etc..?? Plz reply!!

  • @ILoveHorses1547 some stables forget to teach this. I learned first lesson. mucking out you normally wont learn in lessons, only grooming, tacking and riding. if you haven't learned to groom or tack yet after a few lessons, its a good idea to ask your trainer

  • u r sooo lucky! i do dancing and i ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT but i would ABSOLUTELY kill to do horse back riding! i am in the process of pursuasion

  • I just went and watched more recent videos of yours, and It is just FABULOUS to see how far you've come :) You look quite good for a first time English lesson! I certainly didn't look that good!

  • @Horsesletmefly thanks so much! I like to hear comments like that(: thanks for watching my both recent and old :)

  • @pony66360 Anytime (:

  • It'd be nice to find some quick release or elastic bound stirrups on these horses though...

  • he's a very beautiful horse.... is he a thoroughbred?

  • My parents finally said yes to lessons! I'm so excited. I think I'm going to my first one in a few weeks! If not sooner!

  • HOLY CRAP WHEN I HAD MY FIRST LESSON THE FRICKN HORSE STARTED CANTERING I WAS LIKE WTF IS HAPPENING!!!! LOL but i didnt fall off the lady said that i had great posture for cantering :D lol

  • ahaha i remember my first riding lesson it took me forever to get my right foot in the stirrup, still really good for your first time, your going to love english riding its amazing, once you get into it a little longer if you do jumping, its amazing (; Great Good!!!

  • @BabeGirlXoxo1O iv already been riding longer. 3 years to be exact lol

  • I saw ur 2nd lesson, was rly ur 2nd? ppl here wait more than 2 lessons for gallop... this is dangerous if u don't know how do it... :S

  • @YoAmazona we dont gallop, its a canter. and i dont have one of my second lesson ?

  • @pony66360 Gallop is the same as canter ;)

  • @ambiversavel nope! not at all! they are both completely different! a Canter is a three beat gait and gallop is a four beat gait. any rider would know that..

  • Comment removed

  • @pony66360 sorry i not from usa so I exchangeable allot of words now i remember that canter is trot so sorryy ;)

  • @ambiversavel canter isnt a trot either! haha! xD ok. trot is like a jog(looks like a rly fast walk). canter is like a rocking horse motion. and a gallop is full out running

  • @pony66360 is Gallop a fast canter? I'm a rider but my langue is Dutch so i don't now all the words ;)

  • @ambiversavel sort of. a gallop is what you see race horses do. a canter is slower

  • @pony66360 oh in belgium we call a canter gallop thats why I was confused ;)

  • @pony66360 Not really, don't say smart ass little things like that. Everyone starts somewhere.

Though, trot looks nothing like a fast walk, completely different beats, just to clarify. :)

  • reeally good for the first time :) if i remember my first riding lesson... I was horrible xD

  • @LoveMitchelMusso92 I was 12. i did western riding a bit before starting English. thanks. :)

  • I love watch these types of videos. They kinda give me hope that one day I might be able to take lessons, but right now I can't. Oh well.

  • @Kitty56isamazing thats what i used to do. then in time and patience, my parents decided it was ok

  • @pony66360 thanks. i hope you are doing well.

  • @Kitty56isamazing i am, thank you(:

  • @msjumpingqueenful Thank you! Half the people commenting think they were oh so perfect their first time. Nobody is, thats life. Of course i look MUCH better then here. Thanks for the help. im glad at least someone has a heart! I appreciate it!

  • you seem to be very comfortable on horses

  • You did well for a first time, I did bad lol :)

  • @tiggywiggytiger ah no worries, no one is perfect the first time. Nor was I. I appreciate the comment!(:

  • @pony66360 I learnt walk and trot and I really failed while rising trot lol x

  • Awesome job! Better than my first time riding!! Do you still ride now? how far along are you if you still do?

  • @DappleRose1 yes im still riding! Although iv switched to different stables twice. Iv been riding 3 years. I have recent videos available if you would like to see! I started when I had just turned 13 and now im 15

  • @pony66360

could you make a new video?? xx

You was verry good yout first time.

Sorry for bad english, i'm from belgium :p

  • @MrCowla your english is fine. iv already put up a newer one from my last lesson

  • Why was there jumps in an arena if it was your first time rided English?I ride English & on my first lesson we didn't jumped.

  • @webkinzlover2021 just because there are jumps in the ring doesent mean we used them

  • @pony66360 Oh.

  • @webkinzlover2021 Is this a private lesson?

  • You know what I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that.. I'm really sorry.. I bet your a really talented rider, way better than I'll ever be and I shouldn't have done that.. Please forgive me and I've learned my lesson <3

  • @reigndrop101 Where is the falcon ridge barn you were talking about?

  • sorry i meant to say that it just that my trainer's name is simon

  • Your really not that good... I mean your two point is to far forward but I can see your dedication to riding but keep trying

  • @Lilzy4 haha ohh sweetie, maybe you should try READING the title before talking smack(:

  • i am not doing western riding ,,i am donig english riding...but i think english riding is better

  • just to say i promise i am sereious

  • just to tell you i ride at the barn you are at. the trainer's name is sydney.falcon ridge is the barn you are at

  • @reigndrop101 no its not, its ashley

  • WOW our horses look the same. You did great on your first leson

  • &ThePonyCrazyxx It was her first lesson? And I suppose you could do that on your first lesson? Some people are very snobby these days :( At the stable I live near when I am watching lessons ( because I do t take lessons :( ) whichever gurl is riding will literally stop next to me and just glare at me until there instructed tells them to move. I have nothing to do with horses :( I rode a trail ride once... And yea sure, I didn't need a stool but really you don't need to be like that.

  • OMG you had to use a step to get on the horse, i ride bigger ones then that without a step

  • @ThePonycrazyxx read the title sweetie

  • Reminds me if my first lesson:D

  • POOR HORSEYS THEIR STALLS ARE SO TINY :(((((

  • @10horseriding wow you are so retarded IT'S HER FIRST F****** LESSON GIVE HER A BREAK LIKE SHES NOT BAD LIKE WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Haha! Amazing! Reminds me of my first lesson! Twas fuunn!!! (and people say horse back is easy)

  • im sorry but i dout that was your first lesson if you can post and trot. but you are a good rider!:-)

  • Nice! I had my second riding lesson a week ago. It's pretty addictive! :P

  • Too be honest, I hate it when someone is teaching me because they don't let me Kind of build up. When you do something wrong my Riding instructor Bites my ear off (not literally) but when its just me, I just laugh it off then carry on trying. But you look like you have already Done english riding :)

  • You did great for your first time trotting!

  • awesome two point position

  • You sure this is your first...you seem pretty good to me XD.

  • The horse is a beauty

  • in my opinion, english is more fun then western, but western is more comftable then english :P

  • Wow you did amazing I sucked at riding English for the first time!!!

  • @10horseriding ok, tell someone who gives a crap(:

  • @pony66360 How much is a horse? ^-^ and the lessons? I WANT A PONY!!!!!! or at least a turtle v.v

  • @purplerose695 where I live, this stuff is VEY EXPENSIVE. to own one costs a couple thousand dollars and thousands of more every month for its care and health. lessons are around $100-200 every month..

  • @pony66360 There goes my chance for a horse... im really poor we can hardly afford the rent :(

  • @purplerose695 yes. Its a SUPER expensive thing. if you cant pay off rent, theres no way you are going to manage a horse. Im not saying that in a rude way but im just informing you of the costs. Just keep positive and hope that things fall into place!

  • @pony66360 Actully... i found a horse thats 500 dollars and 100 dollars to take care of :D we might even get it for 100 200 or 300 :P and theres a barn for it to stay in for FREE!!!!

  • @purplerose695 cool! although dont be fooled too easily, the prices can go up VERY fast and chances of loosing it is super easy

  • @pony66360 Actully i just got an email back from her im getting her for 200 :D if my mom says yes.. ^-^
