  • @xo8MyLove8xo: What distro are you running? If you are running Ubuntu or an Ubuntu based distro installing the package "ubuntu-restricted-extras" will install most of the codecs you will ever need. Some distros like Mint DVD, will come with the codecs already installed. Are you able to watch the videos in another player like vlc, mplayer, or totem?

    There are a lot of codecs out there (divx, xvid, ogg, mp2, mp4,etc). You need the right codecs on your systems to view a video or audio file.

  • @xo8MyLove8xo: Interesting. What codec does the video you are importing use? So far for me everything video I've tried has worked, but you never know. Also, if you have a short clip of one of the videos that you can upload and send me a link to, I'll download it and see what happens here.
