Going to hobbiton right now is a better time then any, all hobbit houses, fences, roads, bridges, vegetation and everything has been rebuilt. EVEN THE GREEN DRAGON!
Due to the filming of the hobbit its all been rebuilt, but weather or someother reason made it not possible to film yet. So if anyone wants to see hobbiton, go right now.

It looks really empty without hobbits, there is no party or Bilbo :) which makes this place kind of sad. Thanks for posting this. Greetings from Poland
yes it does. the whole thing is kind of commercial and you need to pay entrance. but its worth it. never saw such a beautiful nature place before. this place is somewhere out in the nature. nothing artificial around in this area.
Hey, they made us sign some contract saying we cant upload this on youtube or the internet. Have you ever had any problems with that?

This is Rubbish, Tiniroto NZ is a much better site with real lakes and not stock dams. More rolling hillside.

Hey, i live in Matamata and iv'e been to the Hobbiton set. Have you sat next to the statues and signs in Broadway (the middle of town)
i live close to this farm and it's a really cool environment here in New Zealand!

after the new hobbit movie, they are going to leave all the buildings intact for public viewing which should be pretty cool
