I am a huge fan of Bottega Veneta and I am usually inspired by his collections, but I'm not sure how I feel about this collection

The shapes are spectacular and the shoes and handbags are lovely, but the colors were a bit...drain even for earth tones..I still love BV

The whole look the created was so elegant, beautiful makeup as well

There is a strange likeness to high Victorian design. The cottons remind me of day dresses from that period, and the hair reinforces that likeness. It's a bit odd that something which references that period is hailed as modern. There's some lovely things here, but I don't feel it's one of Maier's best. His collections for 2008 were really lovely, though.
