Hello Tauseef you have opened window in the past. I remember those good old days, when Rubina was still Rubina Ansari and traveled abroad with a troop of artists of performing arts. I am having difficulty to recall in which city I heard her, but with her melodious voice, she was a strikingly graceful lady. PTV has some great music archives. even today it churns out great studio recordings

This transforms the listeners to the golden era of PTV and pakistani folk music. Its a pity that there are not a whole lot of songs from rubina that we can listen to now. I watched an interview where It was mentioned that for some weird reason PTV "lost" the old archive of songs that had a lot of gems from Rubina as well. These songs are now gone for ever..... What a loss
