That was a great club.. Something I didn't expect to find in Florida. I was there once in 1991 or '92, while on a brief vacation and loved it. It was a lot like the clubs I hung out in when I was a kid in Milwaukee.. Somehow I managed to find it in the phonebook.. It was a memorable night and the music was great :)

I find it particularly amusing that Orlando was SO CONSERVATIVE back then. The news people look so frumpy and concerned about all the "black" Hah!Holy hell,,,bible belt in the '80s! One thing I'm certain of is that although Orlando is still overly conservative and "born again"...it has improved dramatically since then!

I and one of my best friends were the last guests to ever be in Visage. We both cried uncontrollably about what was being lost. I LIVED at this place for 5 or 6 years. Fridays was all I could think about in 11th and 12th grade...it was "16 and up" although many even younger were allowed entry. We all drank alchohol before going in and often could get drinks from those that were 21. Clubs in Orlando were SO lax when it came to alchohol and drugs back then. Those were the days!
