I was at this show. Me and my dad left right after they did there only encore "Jump" to beat traffic (everyone was still hoping they would play another song), and we went out a emergency exit and got lost behind the arena, and while we were walking we walked right into Eddie and Alex getting onto their tour bus. We told them we were just looking for our car and they laughed and said no one ever finds them when they leave. I got both of their autographs on my concert T-shirt, awesome night.

Yea, I loved VH for so many years, but I have to agree- they are past their prime. Like it or not in Sammy or Dave era, I believe their prime as a band was in the OU812/ F.U.C.K years. That is when they were creative, tight, melodic and sounded like a well oiled machine. I think they started a down hill decent with Balance which quickly accelerated with adding DLR back. They now sound like a VH cover band with Eddie on Guitar....

A Roth fan myself, I think for me it was more about his energy and stage presence as the frontman and those days are certainly gone. I gotta say though that even in their prime (Roth era stuff) they were never really a polished live band from what I've seen anyway. Due mainly to Dave's vocal laziness/ability,whichever, and Eddie seemed to have A-D-D or something at times.Solos were sweet though. RIP VH

I don't know what to say. I'm dumbstruck. Sad to say, with the exception of Eddie himself, Van Halen are now a spent force. VH have long been one of my very favourite bands, but I wouldn't go to see this. Should've disbanded long ago. DLR is an embarrassment now, and Wolfgang IS NOT in the same league as Michael. (I could go on about 'who ate all the pies' but it wouldn't serve any purpose) For me VH ended with Sammy. VHIII should NEVER have been thought of, and this incarnation doesn't cut it.K

Great Vid , Kudos for the post. Roth was the best , Hagar a so so second and the fluff from extreme or whatever it was called was a complete joke and absolute failure.
