..The thoughts she was capable of having were not necessarily ones she was able to sign..So I thinkthat was sometimes difficult in the relationship, I think hopefully as time went on the signing got better?...and I'm sure there were times Bette wished Tina hadn't heard what she had said (Laughs and looks at LuH and says "Right?") LuH says "Yeah"

JB: If Jodie had been a different personality, it would have been a different realationship, her deafness was only an aspect of the relationship which I am in..the only thing I felt as Bette was problematic was her ability to sign eas not demonstrative with her ability to have any analytical thinking
