I started babysitting when I was 12. At that time I charged $5/hr. It is nice and even. It stayed that way thru high school.

Though you should tell them what you expect. Esp. if you think you will be late. I had parents who would leave at 6 or 7 pm and not come home until 2 or 3 am. If they knew they were going to be late they would often tell me that it was ok if I fell asleep.

It might be a little different in Utah than in my area, because the prices tend to depend on the availability of reliable babysitters. With four kids under age 8 or 9, I would say a minimum of 10 dollars for all hours that they are awake then about 7 dollars for each hour after they go to sleep!

I'm 21 and I charge $6 an hour for one kid, $8 for two, and $10 for more than that. I still think that's a bit high for people, but I've got 11 years of experience, you're not gonna get that with a 13 year old.

I think especially with late night babysitting people try to charge too much. Why does anyone deserve that much money to fall asleep on the couch while the kids are in bed asleep? That's not work!

Since none of the older kids are in diapers, I'd say ten is excessive, but let's say, they had Rocktard, babytard was in diapers still, and princesstard was potty training (obviously not at her age but let's adjust their ages for sake of argument), I'd say $10/hour could be pretty reasonable. Granted I had four kids with two in diapers and was only making $5/hr but I was also working for a single mom.
