Sorry, can't let you go appealing to "dr. Luke" for historical accuracy, and ignore his historical blunders. There was no Census under Quirinius (the one in 6CE didn't affect Galileans) when Luke says there was in appx 4BCE. He wasn't the governor of Syria when Herod the Great was ruling--and we know who was. Further, during Herod the Great's reign, Judea was a satellite client states; the Roman's wouldn't have collected taxes.

The flood was a LONG LONG tme ago. How do you know the Chinese weren't destroyed? You would do well to stop using your "brain" and trying to disprove things and start by earnestly praying to God, your Creator, to reveal Himself to you. Bibical scholars agree "the flood" occured around 2304-29924 BC. Chinese culture begain around 4000 BC. Pharaoh Djoser bulit a pyramid around 2630-2612 BC. And less then 342 after "the flood", Amenemhat I bulit a pyramid in Lisht around 1991-1962 BC. These civilzations obviously survived 'the flood" intact.

GOD CAN DO ANYTHING! Why is a flood hard to believe? Its not. Believe, and ask God to help you with your unbelief! Stay strong in the faith friend. Romans 1:20 says For the invisible things of Him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made even His eternal power and Godhead so that they are without excuse. This means basically if you see a house, you KNOW someone built it. You see all Gods creations you KNOW God made them. The evidence is there!

Mikro, Adam and Eve lived a LONG time. perhaps had hundreds of children. Hence, wives and husbands were brothers and sisters. Because the earth was 'rotating' did not make it difficult for God to finish making it. Food for the animals on the Ark? Are you familiar with 'manna from heaven' God provided to the Israelites as they fled Egypt? The One who made the Universe, me and you, manna from heaven etc can certainly provide food for His animals. NOTHING is impossible for God. NOTHING! God Bless!

One more thing Mikro, God created the world in just 6 days. Look how AWESOME it is. The animals, the oceans, the stars, the flowers...precious little babies! I think you're missing the point. In John when Mary comes to the tomb she sees that the stone had already been moved. In Matthew the stone is still in place when see gets there, and then the angle moves it. So, was it or wasn't it in place when she first got there? One says 'yes', while the other says 'no'. They both can't be right, one HAS to be wrong.

In John, it says Mary "saw the stone taken away." Then in Matthew, it says she "saw the Angel take away the stone." Both accounts say she "saw" the stone taken away. John simply didn't mention WHO took it away. bottom line: The Bible IS the inerrant WORD OF GOD! Amen

1) John 20:1 Mary saw that the stone HAD been moved. Matthew 28:2 an angel shows up(earthquake and lighting) and THEN moves the stone away. To say saw the stone had been moved, and she saw the stone being moved is not the same thing.

2) And that's also not answering the question of why Mary didn't remember what the angel, who moved the stone when she first got there had told her(Matthew), as she tells the disciples, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we don't know where they have put him!" (John) John's account doesn't even mention an angel being at the tomb when Mary first gets there. In John she returns a second time and is clueless as to what happen to the body.

Did Mary suddenly forget what the angel(who moved the stone way) told her in Matthew 28?

Also, if you noticed in John 20:1-2, when Mary runs to Simon Peter she says WE don't know where they put him signifying there were more than just Mary Magdalene who witnessed the tomb empty. So, John has the viewpoint from this angle of Mary Magdalene running back in haste before she saw the angel and leaving the others (the other Mary) who were not mentioned in John, but mentioned in Matthew to behold the angel who was at the tomb. So, in looking at the gospels, each just fills in the gaps.

That's not a contradiction! First of all, it was written in GREEK, not English. The Greek "Akouo," like our word "hear," has TWO distinct meanings, to perceive sound, and to understand. As far as "standing," that word also means to be fixed/rooted to a spot which would make complete sense. Or they could have "fell to the earth" but afterward rose and "stood" upon their feet. No contradiction at all!

Mathew and Luke cant decide agree on how judas died. Mat 27:5 hanged

Acts 1:18 fell down and disebowled.

I said nothing about seeing the man. They heard, yet didn't understand (the same word is used, reread my comment). The original Greek makes complete sense, read the NIV for a comparative English translation.

Judas' death, well it's believed that they each highlighted a different aspect of his death. Judas hung himself overhanging the valley of Hinnom, & the limb or rope gave way, & he fell. The terrain lends support to this theory, & his bowels could have burst on the sharp jagged rocks there.

@toddtyszka Minoir typos? The gospels have more discrepancies than just typos. How about when Jesus was crucified, before or after passover? Who went to the empty tomb first, the women or Peter? On and On. The gospels are not historically accurate.
