So too is Passover - a story deep within the Jewish historical tradition but also universal in its message for humanity: that in each life there is a moment when the Burning Bush (in whatever form) calls to us free ourselves from slavery (of addiction, fear etc); to be prepared to leave the security of the familiar and cross our own wilderness to find our Promised Land.
I'm just curious if you'd gotten a boyfriend. Quite some time ago you told me; when I was down, to keep positive/ my chin up. Now I'm no longer single as of November. I'm quite happy and wanted to see where you were. (sorry I'm on iPhone so I can't send a message)

Glad you're back! I know absolutely nothing about the Jewish religion because I'm stuck in a state where there is only one predominant religion, so....what's passover?
@schinlist Thanks :) And Passover celebrates God taking us out of slavery in Egypt and delivering us to the land of Israel. Basically it focuses on retelling the story of Exodus and remembering our days as slaves by giving up grain-based foods haha

As for your videos, I look forward to seeing new ones. The best videos are made when one doesn't feel pressured to do them. I'm gonna stay subscribed no matter how long in between.

@nexttsar Haha, it would have been *almost* impossible for me to get sick...I was vaccinated for everything under the sun shy of rabies and was taking antimalarials. And the depression basically stemmed from being bombarded with all of these depressing images and internalizing them without knowing how to express what I'd seen, so instead of talking about everything I just sort of sat there and let all of my emotions stew.
@lazerybyl You are the coolest guy! I really love how you take the time to respond to every comment, no matter how short. You are like a pearl among the oysters on Youtube and those of us who found you are very lucky, indeed. Please keep up the vids.

It would be interesting to hear the views on homosexuality from the point of view of Judaism. Being raised Christian, but with tons of Jewish friends, the topic never came up, and I'm just interested to know if Judaism is more accepting that Christianity. Glad to see you back!
@ndbrendo Definitely something i'll think about! Theoretically Christianity and Judaism have the same views, but in my experience there's less animosity in the Jewish community
welcome back! sorry to hear you suffered from depression - that's something i relate to. hopefully it's behind you now. posting videos might serve as a kind of self-therapy that may keep depression at bay; it's always good to talk out your troubles.
