I think George Lucas fate is a bit like Vaders. Both used to show enormous potential and was loved by everyone, but then they got corrupt and power hungry. Vader may have his empire but it was at the cost of his friends and family, and Lucas may have his money but it was at the cost of his reputation and fans. Both has become only a mere, lonely shadow of who they used to be. The heart inside has vanished :(

I believe this segment of the score is "Binary Sunset", and in the segment John Williams starts with an adaption of the Force theme or Ben Kenobi's theme (I think it would make more sense to call it the Jedi theme), goes into the Rebel Fanfare at 1:07, and closes with an adaptation of the Star Wars theme starting at 1:27.

Confirmed rumors say that he's planing to re-release the movies (all 6 of them) in 3D, starting with the Phantom Menace in 2012 and probably ending the it with Episode VI in 2018. From what I've read (sorry, kinda tired at 3:30 in the morning to search the source), he's going to add new things to all movies, which in my opinion, will fuck them even more than the last 2 times he edited them. Hell, we could even see Greedo shoot first this time.

John Williams is unfortunately not authentic author of the force theme melody. He just modernised a part of the melody of an old german military march melodies largely used in nazi Germany before and during second warld war. You can compare it your self by clicking: german wehrmacht military parade(1937-2) on youtube. All great musicians like Zimmer, Goldsmith but not also Morricone, mostly interpret and modernize old melodies which were made by great composers long ago.
