  • I am now convinced this guy (Rockwell) is a fool. He talks about Hussein having nukes but he doesn't like the fact Bush does too. "There's only one government that has ever dropped atomic bombs on civilians and its not Iraq." So in this man's muddled mind Bush is just as likely to use our nuclear arsenal on someone as Saddam Hussein. Let me tell you, these cats, Rocky Bullshit and his wacky neoliberal pupil, Ron Paul are dangerous characters.

  • I love ya Lew but boy were you wrong on the dems...

  • Bill moyers is a nice guy and means well but he actually thinks that government can make people's lives better he is unforttunatly clueless:

"The basic fallacy at the heart of the welfare state...it seeks to subsidize the thing it seeks to eliminate"

  • @glenbianchi Right! We have to remember though, Mr. Moyers was LBJ's press secretary in the 60's. I love his show, and he certainly keeps an open mind!

  • Anyone know the year of this interview? It seems before 2005.

  • @VictoryCough 2003

  • Lew is like a freight train. I really enjoy this interview.

  • It is moral to help. but it is immoral to point a gun at a person's head and steal their money to help the poor. The end does not justify the means.

Government does everything at the point of a gun.

  • Everything he says is perfect. If someone asked me all of these questions, I wouldn't be able to articulate it that perfectly. I guess the secret is years of practice in dealing with democrats and republicans.

  • I've learned a LOT from Lew Rockwell.

  • Lew Rockwell is the man!

  • This simple answer to the "moral imperative" question in helping your fellow man is that Americans still to date give a higher percentage of their income in the name of charity compared to the rest of the world. We survived without welfare prior to the New Deal...and is it really proper to force others to governments notion of "moral imperative" and still call the US a free country? We all know the answer.Once you've forced someone to be "moral" you've lost all meaning behind their forced acts.

  • Immoral? Illegal? Absolutely! It is just as wrong to steal and give the loot to someone else as it is to steal for yourself.

The abolition of all forms of "public assistance," including foreign aid, is needed to restore our sacrosanct individual liberty.

  • RON PAUL's the real deal, war for war's sake is an ethical monstrosity. Huckabee/Romney want to turn the US into a theocracy. Clinton's yesterday's news. Bush's destroying US liberties with loss of habeas corpus, legalized torture.

Look. RP's into separation of church and state, right to free speech, right to bear arms, getting Republicans back to their Republican roots- a balanced budget, less govt. 60 years overseas, let's come home and take care of US FIRST.

  • LOL!!! ..."I'm sure Sadaam is not a good guy, I mean after all he is a politician"...LOL funniest shit I've ever heard!

  • 4 mins mark...

  • @kobe88124 I loled at that as well. In fact I rewound the video to hear it again.

  • Visit lewrockwell . com daily for some of the best pieces by and about Ron Paul. Best site for news and analysis PERIOD.

  • This guy right here knows a thing or two.

  • Lew's a great man

  • Lew's Blog has been very educational to me.
