RIP Jeremy Lusk.

On February 7, 2009, Lusk crashed while attempting to land a "Hart Attack indian air backflip" in a freestyle motocross competition in San Jose, Costa Rica. Lusk under-rotated the flip, causing his front wheel to strike the landing and eject Lusk head first off the bike.

WOW. I used to do freestyle motox back in like 99 and 2000 (not profesionally) and I just cant believe where this sport is going! Its just unbelievable. The backflip just completly opened up the sport. I only wish we had a foam pit back then, Id prob still be doin it. I broke my hip, wrist, and 3 ribs trying to learn a superman seatgrab. Back then you either landed or busted your ass.
