  • Must say NECA please dont do anymore alien figures. I bought the Alien Figure pretty much like an old wrench. stiff and not poseable. But good detail I must say. Aliens I was like o.O Wow all the parts are so technical. you move the lower arm and you can rip the rubber/latex on the arms. Move one bit you can destroy another. bought 3 aliens in total all three broke and Im careful with them. shoddy craftmanship plus cheap plastic parts in my opinion. waste of money. McFarlane to me are the best

  • I have one of these (1979 Alien).

    I call it Fluffy.

  • sooooo which one should i get!?

  • @ShahidTheFuzzy go for both. if not get the Alien original. more better and more durable to me than the Aliens figure. The Aliens figure will break on you as it is stiff, you might say well thats becuase of the new parts and they need to be worn in and used. soon as i moved a leg SNAP. so Improvise on my own pivet for the leg works 10 times better than plastic bearings.

  • Damn, I got one today (Alien) but it has 2 right feet...

  • I have an alien statue (imported from Japan) that's about 5 in. tall made from screws, nuts, & scraps of metal all welded together. MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ME

  • hell

    ya nice

  • I don't know what you mean. I got the Aliens fig and it's quite alright. Then again, mine is a little different and it's got more brown. Either way, great video.

  • i shit myself in kfc...

  • Yea they're both from Neca. I ha(d)ve both of these, and the AVP alien drone. The AVP one and ALiens one are a tie in my opinion, AVP more poseability, Aliens a lot of detail and faithful to the movie, which is cool! Nice to have all the different ones.

Anyway, long story short, the Alien one sucked. It pretty much broke immediately, had barely any poseability, large expanses of horrible textureless plastic, and couldnt even stand. And half the joints were ruined and glued shut by the paint!

  • @Intelliraptor The textureless plastic on the original Alien is faithful to the design of the costume. Plus the Aliens version is based on the same body.

  • Great video Blade, made me want to get all my 7" Aliens and Predators out : ) 2 awesome figures dude

  • @deanknight333 Thanks!

  • I heard that they no longer make the standard ALIEN 7" figure any more they have been discontinued. I now have seen them going for up to $100.00 made by the company NECA. Now some of the Hot Toys products i heard break if your not extremely careful put them together and posing the figures. If you read the box it is for (18 & up) apparently there for collectors i guess.

  • Put the camera down. Move the TOYS instead. I feel like throwing up watching this.

  • @OhNoPaypal So sorry this video doesn't come with a nifty paper bag for you, buddy.

  • @OhNoPaypal Who the F are you telling this guy what to do...do it your fucking self you dick(tator).

  • these look awesome i might get one

  • If i am correct the 2 aliens are showing are from two different movies, Alien for the Neca figure, and Aliens for the Mcfarlane figure. That would be the reasoning for the difference between heads, hands, and feet. Mcfarlane released a Alien version.

  • @jedah76 Uh... both of these are from NECA. NECA did both the Alien from the first movie and the Alien from the second.

  • @Blade3327 Yea sorry. I feel like a fool. As i should.

  • @jedah76 Hey, relax. We're all just geeks here, discussing random Alien stuff. :)

  • My alien leg broke off when i first took it out of the package

  • @junkyturd omfg so did myne on may the 9th my fking b day

  • @robert1973ization And now the arm and foot broke just trying to pose it and as gently as i could. What a rip off by neca!

  • @junkyturd Same, man. Leg broke off as soon as I got it out of the box. =(

  • Blade3327 Are u getting the NECA 22 inch Alien ?

  • @mvemjsunpp Not sure. Maybe.

  • @possum1011 Yep, there's one with more bluish tones and one with more brownish tones. Mine is sort of a hybrid of the two, and no two figures are exactly the same. Just some nice factory variation in case people want to buy more than one to display.

  • For some reason I cant get my Classic Alien`s tongue out.

  • @RDdaNINJA I used tweezers to get it out. If it still doesn't work, it could be stuck. Knowing NECA figures, I wouldn't force it if that was the case.

  • @Blade3327 Cool. thanks, man.

  • @Blade3327 At first I didnt know it could come out.

  • whare did you get the alien aliens

  • @5220predator The Classic Alien was from Things From Another World (a local chain of comic shops) and the Warrior Alien was from Toys 'R' Us. This happened three years ago, so they're not really sold in stores anymore. At least, not in the big chains.

  • Can you please re-make this video, with you'r new HD camera? That would be awesome :D

  • the alien with the clear see through head looks better wut do u think

  • @MrPredatorsFan Eh, I always thought the other one was more accurate. To each their own, I guess.

  • nice nice nice...

  • anyways..awesome review!!

  • do u live in miami can u buy them threr were!! tell me the address! plz messege me!!

  • ehm, can you make a video with alien 1979 NO HEAD?

  • @pincopallino199 Um... no.

  • can alien (from A L i e N 19799) move the arms?

  • @pincopallino199 Yes, he can.

  • @Blade3327 oh yse!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm too happy! Ya-hooooooooooooo!

  • thats cool where did you get the aliens one though thats my favorite movie

  • @MrALIENSVSPREDATOR I got him at Toys R Us. You can also get 'em online.

  • yessss i got my aliens alien in the mail and hes AWESOME!!!!!!!

  • why did you half to get up at 4

  • @gandcsportswar I was leaving on vacation at the time.

  • @blade3327 good review

  • @good review

  • please blade if you can make the review of the alien with translucent head please do it for me and alien fans with your new camera pleaaaaseee!

  • @szilike08 I might do that. Of course, NECA is coming out with an Alien and Predator two-pack in October. It'll feature the unmasked closed-mouth Predator and a classic Alien with a more accurate, re-done head. I might wait for that one to come out and review both figures.

We'll see. I might get bored one of these days and do a NECA review specifically focused on one figure each.

  • @Blade3327 Thank you! i actually really like your vids :) cool figs good quality vids so congrats!

  • @Blade3327 hey man my aliens alien is real stiff u no any way to loosen him up

  • @mikeatclonecody Try submerging the parts that need loosening in hot water for a min or so.

  • okay now i got an aliens alien comn in the mail so totally psyked

  • nice camera! :)

I would like these guys to go with my NECA predator!

  • does the inner mouth come out on the second aliejn

  • the second alien is sooo much better i have the first one and hes aight

  • the second alien is sooo much better

  • Do you have a hard time standing your 1979 one up? I got mine today and he has a bowed left ankle joint, which is really annoying. Nice fig otherwise.

  • @TheJab1023 Mine didn't have any issues out of the box. If yours does, I'd recommend displaying him with the tail as a support.

  • @Blade3327

Yeah the tail thing didn't help either. He's leaning on his side up against my bookshelf currently. Yeah his left foot is like bent in. Then I tried to stretch it and broke it and had to glue it back on. URRRRR, so annoying. Looks like this is how it's going to have to be.

  • @TheJab1023 Whoa, I wouldn't have tried to bend it. I had a similar problem with my Aliens warrior, so I put his left shin under hot water and carefully positioned it. It's not totally straight, but it was enough for me to put him in a more crouched pose that worked with the bent shin, using his tail as support. This is how he is displayed in this video, too.

  • i youstood have the aliens alien but it got runined because i lite my firend boro it and his cat runined it

  • @possum1011 It's unlikely; they've been out for quite a while. I'd say the internet is your best bet.

  • whyed u have to get up so early

  • @DevlinKeeler13 Leaving on vacation. This was a year ago, BTW :).

  • well in avp there called sepents or bugs well both

  • i have the original Necca Alien figure but the mouth doesn`t seem to open!?

  • @69crafty Is it closed or already open a bit? I'd recommend gently trying to move it open. If not, it might already be open wide enough for you to use some tweezers or plyers and pull the inner-tongue out.

  • @Blade3327 it`s mouth is closed but i`ll try the tweezers technique. Thanks.

  • They're real DICKHEADS

  • The dog alien from alien3 is still my favourite alien of all time, its such a sleek looking alien!

  • I think the alien from the 1st movie was a female since it did kind of have a feminine form

  • What is the difference between neca alien warrior of the MacFarlane?

  • What is the difference between neca alien warrior of the MacFarlane?

  • @Arnold2099 : I'll send you a message through YouTube, since I can't post site links in comments.

  • What is the difference between neca alien warrior of the MacFarlane?

  • ¿que diferencia hay entre el alien warrior de neca con el de macfarlane?

  • ¿que diferencia hay entre el alien warrior de neca con el de macfarlane?

  • Xenos on Aliens didn't have the middle back-spike... and that "flimsy" blade that menaces to brake if you pose the arms wasn't there at all as far as I know. That Giger's Alien one looks very good, but the paint-job under the dome it's awfull, really kills it for me. Nice vid!

  • i wish that NECA made the Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection aliens as figures

  • Same here. All we can do is hope...

  • @Blade3327 i never was a fan of the dog alien...it was a good idea but i don't think it worked. are you also a fan of predators?

  • @ttresnan1 I think my other Predator videos can answer that question :).

  • The warrior dome alien looks very scary and the warrior alien looks cooler then the dome alien.

  • I prefer the AVPR alien, because it has a more stylish tail.

  • Is anyone gonna mention A3? Quite frankly, that was one of my faves. Plus, the design was more Giger-esque. I think it brought back some of the gothic horror elements of the first -- plus I really hope NECA produces a Dog Alien. It'd blow McF's out of the water!

  • @SamuraiSwoosh yeah same here resurection in my eyes was just a bad dream :P

  • @SamuraiSwoosh dont get me wrong Gigers alien is great but i like the warrior aliens in Aliens better i also hate the smooth head ones from resurection they dont seem as menacing as the ones in Aliens plus resurection sucks balls.

  • i like the aliens alien more

  • Do Xenomorphs see?

Do they use some sort of echo location?

  • In A3, it's been said they hunt by sight... we just have no idea where their eyes are. I'm guessing it's those sensor thingies near their mouths, but I could be wrong.

  • @Blade3327 in the avp comics they used echo location but how they get around is up to anyone ridley and cameron have not given offical explanation as to how the hunt and catch their prey so any guess is a good guess but i dont think they have eyes.

  • @ClaW177 They have the eyes of what type of host(human/predator) they were in and they have some weird night vision.

  • i have that aliens alien figure

  • I'm just buying the original one :o)

Hard to get those figures in Czech Republic...

  • but those thing are on their back on the movies too

  • Yes, they are. For the same reason. The first Alien was especially hunched, so that's why.

Giger was the creature designer for that specific film, so he created those tubes for balance.

  • i was woundering when i was playing the game and watching the movies why do some of the Aliens have those things sticking out of their back?

  • Giger designed those for balance, since the Alien had such a big head. He spends most of his time hunched down, and without counterweights on his back, he'd just tip over.

  • I do love the Neca Alien. The classic alien version but the joints are to stiff. Well, the last 3 figures I have had anyway.

  • I'd recommend moving the joints back and forth to loosen 'em up. Gently, though.

On the other hand, I'd rather the figure have really stiff joints, than really loose ones. Especially if all he's gonna do is sit on a shelf and hold a pose.

  • @Blade3327 yeah good point. I have the Mcfarlane Aliens figure and his joint are very loose and its a challenge getting it to stay in a good pose! once he is in pose you have to walk very slowly out the room haha Just bought the 18 inch Alien Figure so looking forward to receiving it.

  • there diffrent aliens. the first one witht he dome is called a warrior drome and the other is called rigged alien

  • Dude, those are just names from the game. And, if you'll notice, the domed Alien in my review doesn't just look like a Warrior with a dome (like in the game). He's based on the original Giger design. Totally different look.

Also, the ridged version has a different head design, much like that of the Dog Alien, but domeless.

I'm going by the movies, since that's where all the collectibles and official character info come from.

  • @Blade3327 I always liked Giger's design better. That skull always made it creepier, and gave the hint that the alien replicates the species it "bursted" from.

  • For the Aliens alien they should've used a rubber arm tube to prevent it from snapping, and it would look really cool when it flexes as you move the arm up and down.

  • They should've had the blade attached only to the forearm, then you could still use the normal material, but have full wrist and elbow movement.

I know they were going for movie accuracy, but they really should've made that adjustment.

Rubber is kind of pricier to use, compared to cheap PVC. Would've been cool, but in the end it's a business. Oh, well...

  • mate this vid is so good i gonna add it as my favroute

  • i dont no if u no that in alien u can see throgh the skin and u can see the skull

  • Yeah, that's the dome part. You can see it in Alien, and also in AVP, if you look close enough.

  • in a way sometimes i think that the ones with the smooth heads r like littel kids and the bumps adults but i was disproved in avpr and aliens

  • The designs have changed a lot over the years. It's basically a matter of preference, when it comes to using the dome.

Actually, with Aliens, it was preference and practicality, because with so many creatures moving around, Cameron thought the domes would be subject to breakage.

  • the alien with clear head is kinda like new borns head n u can see eyes

  • Blade3327: some advice when doing a figure review: lock the camera down on a tripod and do not make a lot of movements with the camera or figures. Also, don't bounce back and forth between figures: focus on one and do a full review, then make notes on differences with the second one later.

  • This vid was done a while ago. Can't say I'd do too much tripod-locking, as plenty of others get to the point without it (plus, I'd like to focus more on stuff).

I do, however, use HQ pictures in my newer reviews.

  • muy bueno !! figuras espectaculares ambas, yo tengo el warrior de aliens!

  • the warrior got my vote but I'M going to get Todd Mcfarlanes warrior Alien from ALIENS

  • Not as accurate. Just gonna put that out there. That figure is much older, pricier, and less detailed.

  • oh really

  • the original alien had 6 fingers so they change it to 4 fingers the rest of the movies and the toys

  • @ravenroost The rest of the movies? In Aliens they had 5 in Alien 3 it has the original 6 finger setup. Only the crappy ADI aliens in Resurrection and the AvP flops had those weird 4 ,uch to long finger setup.

  • does the aliens one have an extendable inner jaw

  • If you have one, shouldn't you know?

Anyway, yes. Both Aliens have extendable jaws, so you should be covered in that department lol.

  • @Blade3327 i do have one but when i opened it it was really hard to open the mouth

  • If it REALLY won't budge, I wouldn't recommend it. All I remember is that mine was a bit of a toughy to open, but with the help of some tweezers, I finally got it.

  • does anyone know where i can get a alien in english money

  • The internet??

  • yeah it was and awsome detail

  • just got the aliens figure today because there was a sale for black friday

  • Nice, hope everything was in good condition!

  • well in my knowledge dude in Alien. the ALIEN alien is a worker and ALIENS one is a warrior guard.

  • Dude, that's fan mythos. No one really bothers to figure out what role the first Alien plays, because he behaved differently than the others.

He was pretty much a loner, while the next Aliens worked together for the good of the hive.

  • would the aliens figure be good for child play

  • I wouldn't say so. These are collectors' items, meaning that even though they are poseable, they are for display only (made of hard plastic/ PVC plastic, and can be fragile).

  • well kinda. the neck joint on the ALIENS one snaps off to esaly when u move it side to side only giving u up and down to move in safety. dont know about ALIEN on. dont got that guy.

  • My classic NECA is really hard to articulate.

I was thinking about getting the AVPR alien for the other version but the mouth isn't articulatable (?) and I saw a picture of the Aliens alien that looks like the mouth is the same. So does the Aliens warrior alien have the same mouth as the first classic alien?

  • The alien warrior from "Aliens" does not have the same mouth as the classic version, but it is still openable.

I have all of the NECA Alien figures (including the "AVP-R" one), so I can tell you both figures you mentioned are cool.

  • Hmmm.....

So is the Aliens Alien any different from the AVPR one? Which one should I get?

  • They're different, I'd say. For a great sculpt and great paint apps, get the "Aliens" Alien. For a ton of articulation, get the "AVP-R" version.

Both have nice sculpts and pretty good poseability, so I got both -- and all of the other NECA "AVP"-related stuff.

It's basically up to which design you favor the most. If you choose the "Aliens" figure, try to get him in-store, to get a good look at any possible problem areas. Make sure your store also has a return/exchange policy for opened items.

  • oh. well im not getin the neca. neca is a poor mans figure

  • I can afford both, but make it a point to collect the NECA stuff. It's a great figure. Price has nothing to do with it.

If you really believe that, then you're not a very branched-out collector, are you?

Hate the product, not the brand. And in this case, both happen to be great. +D

  • how did you do those graphics for your vid?i want them too, i use i movie

  • LOL, they're not graphics.

They're pictures, text, and autoshapes edited w/ color and effects, then collaged in MS PowerPoint 2007. Sry.

  • Great detail, but might I recommend a place with great lighting without a toilet? Great first review, though

  • Sorry, bud. It's either that or the laundry room... and there's really no place to set this stuff up in there.

Yeah... unless I can get a neon light in my bedroom or study (which I'd probably find annoying).

  • hey how crappy is the quality of the clear dome alien, compared to something like Hot Toys. I know the clear dome alien is cheap but the Hot Toys is like 140.00...

i am wondering if its worth getting the NECA

  • The quality's actually fine. Looks great.

I ordered an HT Pred a couple days ago; it really depends on what you're looking for in a figure.

Personally I'd go for the HT Big Chap; sure he's pricey, but he looks incredible. If you can only afford the NECA version, by all means get that one. No problem with 'im.

  • Those Aliens figures have a lot of issues! Like yours, my Aliens figures also had some problems with their legs and stuff falling appart... But with a little fixing they are great...

  • I like both of the models. I got my 18 inch one serveral weeks ago. I found out that the color of his "dome" was white/grayish.

It's not very transparent like yours...But i like it, it's more like the movie version in Aliens 1. On a side note, they are getting very sloppy on making the 18 inch figures. My model was chipped in some places, poor painting in some areas. I had a older version of it i got 6 months ago. It came with two left feet. Your model looks so cool, im jelous.

  • I'm back from the vacay...

I had a similar problem with a Gears of War figure, but with two left hands! Thing is, it was totally obvious there was a problem.

I think NECA just doesn't have quality control, to save money. Ah, well.
