Love the angle when Cribbs run the ball back against the Steelers and one of the guys levels the Steeler player (around 1:09). Cribbs is a guy that certainly helps this team out a bunch.
This video is horribly made. You spent like a minute setting up the Miami one and he only took it like 35 yards. The quality is horrible, and there were some other plays that definitely didn't need to be in there. Any time a return goes for less than 40 yards is pretty unremarkable, unless he breaks like 9 tackles.

Since Cribbs has an amazing burst of acceleration, I think it's retarded to use him as a wide receiver. Whenever I play Madden, I use Cribbs as a half back and usually run the ball about a good 69 to 70 percent of the time. If a defense can't stop the run, they can't win. I played safety in highschool. To let a guy break your tackle and get 6 is just a crushing feeling. And that's what I do with Cribbs on Madden '09.

Devin Hester doesn't have the footwork or body control that Cribbs has. And Cribbs is a way better receiver.

I hate when people forget about KR/PR avg. Like they all talk about, "Oh Joshua Cribbs has the record so he's obviously the best returner of all time!..." Wrong. Period. Dante Hall in my opinion is. Simply, because he has better KR/PR avg. than Cribbs and is way more explosive. Just my opinion but Joshua Cribbs isn't all that... Just saying. He is good though, regardless.

well, theres no pure KR/PR in the hall. But, he could make a case years to come..8 KR TD's is no walk in the park. But, he does play on a bad team, and the hall like to vote players who play on an above .500 team.

not necessarily man. Barry Sanders played on a shitty ass Lions team but he got in the hall of fame, so did Deacon Jones and lets not forget Gale Sayers. That proves that voters dont look for players that played on above .500 teams.

true..but your comparing a KR/PR to 2 franchise RB's and a top 5 D-Lineman of all time. Gale has 6 KR TD's along with 2 rushing titles. Barry has the 3rd most rushing yards and 4 rushing titles, and Mr. Jones went to 8 pro bowls and is on the all time team. Yes, there are players in the Hall of Fame that played on bad teams. But Josh is just a KR/PR and he sometimes plays offense. Thats all he does. There is only 1 pure Special Teams player in. The odds are against him greatly.

Since Cribbs has an amazing burst of acceleration, I think it's retarded to use him as a wide receiver. Whenever I play Madden, I use Cribbs as a half back and usually run the ball about a good 69 to 70 percent of the time. If a defense can't stop the run, they can't win. I played safety in highschool. To let a guy break your tackle and get 6 is just a crushing feeling. And that's what I do with Cribbs on Madden '09.

I didn't say I was a football genius. But I do know basics. And did anyone hear about Cribbs wanting to extend his contract with the Browns. I'm from the Cleveland area and am a big Browns fan, but even I think that's a dumb idea.
