Tokarski still wins save of the tourney, and not to diminish the skill and athleticism it took to do this, but in all reality i think that shot was gonna ring off the post anyways. Tokarski wins save of the Tourney HANDS DOWN! And either way Eberle OWNS both saves easily with his miracle goal against Russia.

When I was watching this game, all I can remember was thinking "holy hell that goalie is AMAZING!" And it's true: he's really incredible. Congratulations to Janus on the best goaltender performance of the tourney (although Tokarski's save on Colin Wilson was awesome too, since it saved the game for us lol)

I agree, but also keep in mind that a fourth place finish is a huge accomplishment for a team that came into the tournament as a candidate to be relegated. It would've been nice to see them complete their Cinderella story by winning bronze, but they should be awfully proud regardless.

Tokarski's save was MUCH better...it's debatable that Johnson's shot would've even gone in here...Tokarski took away an automatic goal.

While I do agree that Tokarski's save was much better, mostly because it was in a more important situation, you are taking a lot away from Janus here.

He had no way to know if that puck was going in or not, he made an incredible play to get across to stop the puck and frankly carried his country during most of the games.

Great stop and a great performance.

I agree. This puck was pretty much stopped and Janus knew the forward was gonna get one chance to whack at it. The Canadian save more of a duel and the America forward had all the time in the world to make a move, but was macthed and beat by the Canuck goalie.

Congrats, Slovakia. Goaltending was obviously the primary difference, but the Slovaks really gave it all they had too. The Americans utilized their individual skills but failed to play as a team.
