this song is amazing I had this cd for almost 2 years before I really listened to it and found what incredible lyrics and emotion were put into it. It helped me through some dark times.
God, Pete has mellowed recently. I was amazed to find that i now prefer watching his more recent interviews than the 'classic' one from the 60's and 70's... somehow that young Pete from, say, 67 or 73 seems less interesting to me than what the guy has to say NOW. and considering that i LOVE the who and how pete was back then, its a surprise to me.
Saw Pete do Psychoderelict in 1991. One of the greatest concerts I've ever been to..and that's saying a lot..been to over 300 concerts...the Who over 25 times.
I really like this song. I think the main reason the album failed was that radio didn't/couldn't support it. Radio was switching over to the Classic Rock format, where they play a song only once a day. A band like The Who can never be "alternative" anymore (and thus get on the mainstream new music stations), and they can't get a classic rock station to play their new songs more than once a day, so the new songs quickly fade away, known only by the band's more hardcore fans.
Psychoderelict ist a good album with some grat tunes on it but the mix is shit, it sounds bad..now and then once was covered by Lou Reed..Pete´s woodstock show was so lala..i miss drums, a real drumkit..
isnt that the song that LOU reed did with pete? lou reed, the man who once said " I am not interested in his boring philosophy" ?! apparently, HE WAS, haha!
to dwayne anthony....cant do a thing about it

Timeless, brilliant, and emotionally charged. One of many of Pete's most under-appreciated masterpieces, from a fantastic album. We love you Pete!
