it always works on every windows vista, except Starter and Home Basic without Aero-Hacks. you must have Aero enabled. Press Win+Tab to do that.

I accidentialy deleated the "Windows Flip 3d" icon from my quick launch icons. Can anyone tell me how to restore it. I Have tried the "Taskbar and Start Menu Properties" but cant find it ??

MacTipper, there has been since 2003. It's called Exposé, and Microsoft obviously stole the idea for Flip 3D from Exposé as they do a lot of their features for Windows.

Yeah it's called Exposé. Macs have had this feature for years now and its much easier to control then Flip 3D.

First of all, expose shows me all my windows at once. This is too slow. I want something where I can see each window as I flip through them. (Kinda like Cmd-Tab for windows.)

The closest thing we have is "Switch to Next Active Window". I don't know what the default shortcut is, but it's in System Preferences>Keyboard & Mouse>Keyboard Shortcuts.

How is flipping through your windows one by one faster than looking at all of the windows at once?

Imagine if you had 30 windows open. You'd be flipping for a long time to find that one you want.

Plus with the Active Corners. I never even have to touch the keyboard to find what I'm looking for.

Because I can't see what's exactly in my window. So, if I'm looking for a text document among my 10 other text documents, it will take a while.

Where as, I can hit Cmd-Option-` to switch between them rather quickly.

Also, I prefer the keyboard over the mouse. Expose is GREAT for mouse users, but it's only okay for keyboard junkies such as myself.

don't forget if you have like 30 windows, u prolly would just flip through them. Personally i use the mouse wheel which is a lot faster and than CLICK on the window i want instead of flipping it to the front which takes longer. With combination of the mouse wheel (or the scroll thingy on a touchpad) and CLICKING the window, I can swictch between programs in less than a second even with 20 windows open.

Expose is better, at least way more practicle. Flip 3D looks nice but then when it comes down to the important stuff such as ease of use, dragging files easily, quicly going to the desktop, and much more you will see that expose is a much better solution.
